"I object!"

Li Yuan 's voice caused every disciple and elder to look at him. The Sect Master glanced at him and said: " And why do you object?".

"I am new in the sect and I think the seniors who spent more years in the sect than me should be the chosen." Li Yuan spoke with a loud voice.

The sect master looked at Li Yuan and his eyes shone. He saw that his soul cultivation has reached the 29th level! Only Three has reached this level or above in the sect. Qin Yin, Da Ji, Ye Lang.

It seems that his prediction of Li Yuan's future is not wrong. He will truly become one of the strongest chosen in the eastern part of the continent.

"Li Yuan, I understand from where you are coming. But, have anyone of your seniors reached the same level as you? Your bone age is less than 20 years and you already became a Tier 4 Forging Master and a Tier 3 Alchemist. The three sect competition is not used to show how strong our departments. It is used to show off how talented our new generation is."

The sect master's words caused a few disciples to lower their heads in shame.

Li Yuan sighed and left the main peak. He headed to his courtyard. He didn't know that Qin Yin started arguing with the 1st Grand Elder and the Sect Master about Li Yuan being nominated to go to the Nine Yin Palace. Sadly, the decision was final and couldn't be changed. She went to meet Li Yuan. But, he closed his courtyard and didn't let anyone annoy him.

The two days passed by quickly and Li Yuan went to the Main Peak.

The sect master and the disciples nominated were already there.

Shortly, a flying ship appeared on the horizon and stopped above the main peak of the Profound Heart Sect. The ship radiated a terrifying Yin Qi from it which caused everyone to feel cold.

"The Nine Yin Palace disciples greet the sect master of Profound Heart Sect. We have come to bring the nominated disciples." A beautiful elder spoke respectively to the Sect Master. He greeted her back and gestured for Li Yuan and the rest to board the ship that slowly descended.

"I hope that you will ensure the safety of my sect disciples." Said the Sect Master.

"The Nine Yin Palace promises that no one will be harmed and they will return to the Profound Heart Sect safely" the Elder spoke which assured the Sect Master.

When the disciples of the Profound Heart Sect boarded the ship, their eyes shone with light as there were a few female disciples. They were extremely beautiful and even Qin Yin, the Alchemy Goddess, couldn't compare to their beauty.

"Please be careful, the ship flying speed is quite fast." One of the disciples spoke.

The Profound Heart Sect disciples spoke proudly and shrugged the female disciple's words. Li Yuan stared at them speechlessly and sighed.

This ship is a Tier 6 Flying Treasure. It uses Spirit Stones as fuel to fly. Those prideful men will be embarrassed once the ship started moving.

Weird sounds came out of the ship followed by it launching toward the west.

Due to the ship' speed, keeping yourself balanced is quite tricky. The Profound Heart Disciples fell down as they lost balance. Only Li Yuan remained standing.

He decided to be low profile in the Nine Yin Palace. But, there is a bottom-line he will not cross. Like losing balance from the ship's flying speed. The Nine Yin Palace disciples stared at Li Yuan with interest as he could be the first one to not stumble when the ship started moving. The beautiful elder gave him a look before turning away.

The disciples that came with him were embarrassed by what just happened. The laughter of the Nine Yin Palace disciples caused their embarrassment to increase. They couldn't but give an angry look at Li Yuan as he was the only one standing straight. Li Yuan ignored them and asked one of the Nine Yin Palace disciples.

"When we will reach the Nine Yin Palace?"

"It will take half a day with our current speed."

Li Yuan nodded and looked around before sitting down. He closed his eyes and began cultivating. The other disciples wanted to strike a conversation with the female disciples.

The beautiful elder stared at them and started shaking her head. Only Li Yuan received a nod from her.

Li Yuan didn't know that his first impression was way too good in comparison to the other disciples of the Profound Heart Sect which made him the centre of attention. Who would blame him as he never attended such an event!

The ship continued flying with astonishing speed and after half a day. The ship finally reached the Nine Yin Palace.

Li Yuan opened his eyes and stood up. He looked at the Nine Magnificent Palaces that were elected on nine snowy mountains.

The Ship Landed on the ground and the female disciples asked Li Yuan and the rest to follow the elder to their courtyards.

The group nodded happily and followed the elder. Their eyes darted left and right as they saw the amazing scenery. Of course, they mostly focused on any creature of the opposite gender which caused Li Yuan to sigh.

Why did he have to come to a Dual Cultivation Sect with a group of horny males? He could only curse the sect founder and sect master for all of this.

"I hope that you don't leave your courtyards until the competition begins." Said the Elder with a stern voice. After that, she left the group.

Li Yuan left the horny group and entered one of the courtyards. The Qi in the Nine Yin Palace was better by 30% than the Qi in the Profound Heart Sect. So he should cultivate and reach the 2nd Stage of Qi Sea Realm with his two Qi Lakes. He began cultivating and ignored the outside world.

A group of elders kneeled respectively to a middle-aged woman who was sitting on a chair made of gold.

"What is your opinion of this batch?" Asked the woman.

"Reposting to the sect master, the Group from Moon Illumination Sect appeared to be quite average. Only Jiang Yi appeared to be somewhat qualified."

"Reporting to the Sect Master, the group from the Sword Peak doesn't have anyone with decent disposition."

"Reporting to the Sect Master, the Group from the Profound Heart Sect is a hopeless group that tried to woo our disciples right after boarding the ship. There was only one who left a good impression. The Sect Master of Nin Yin Palace looked at the elder and said with interest" How so?".

"I see... It seems that this competition will be interesting!" Said the Sect Master. She sensed that something unexpected will happen during this competition.

"We will begin the competition for two weeks from now. Tell this to the disciples of the three sects." Said the Sect master as she gestured for the elders to leave.

One week passed quickly for Li Yuan. His two Qi Lakes grow bigger as he achieved the 2nd Stage of the Qi Sea Realm in both of them. After that, he spent the next week cultivating his soul and reached the Peak of the 29th Level.

"All the Disciples of the Profound Heart Sect, please gather outside as the competition is about to start."

Li Yuan stretched his body and left his courtyard. The disciples of his sect rushed like crazed wolves and stood straight in front of the elder which caused him to sigh. He walked to the group and stood at the back.

The group followed the elder to an extremely large arena. Thousands of disciples from the Nine Yin Palace were waiting in anticipation for the competition to start. At the highest part of the audience seats, a middle-aged woman was sitting on a chair made of gold. Her face was covered with a veil. Her eyes were like stars that would draw you to it.

Suddenly, Li Yuan sensed a killing intent and looked toward the person who radiated it.

Jiang Yi. His eyes were filled murderous intent that couldn't be masked.

"And I thought that this journey couldn't get worse!" Li Yuan sighed. And to his surprise, another killing intent came out from a youth of the Sword Peak Sect.

Li Yuan could understand why Jiang Yi hated him. But, why this brat showed killing intent at him? He doesn't even remember meeting him at all.

Well, who gives a fuck about them? He ignored them and waited for the competition to begin.

"The Three Sects Competition will begin now. The representatives of the Alchemy Department of each sect, step into the arena." Spoke the middle-aged woman.

Li Yuan moved and jumped into the arena.

Two youths followed him and stood opposite to each other.

"Each one of you will be provided with a set of ingredients for Tier 1, 2, 3 and 4 pills. You will start from Tier 1 Pills and go to the next higher Tier after finishing." Said the middle-aged woman.

Li Yuan nodded and the disciples of the Nine Yin Palace quickly brought five sets of ingredients and a cauldron for each one of the three.

The one from the Moon Illumination Sect stared at Li Yuan as he received a telepathic message from Jiang Yi. Malicious intent appeared in his eyes as he affirmed to do what Jiang Yi told him to do.

"Begin!"

Li Yuan and the two began making the pills.

Li Yuan acted normally and made the pills easily. If he chooses to lose, it should be at least a Tier 4 Pill.

The two had some capabilities and quickly finished the Tier 1, 2 and 3 Pills with Li Yuan.

Li Yuan began making the defective Tier 4 Pill and in the middle of the process, soul energy invaded his cauldron which caused the flames to grow berserk. Veins popped out on Li Yuan's face as his eyes showed terrifying killing intent.

The entire arena became silent as they looked at Li Yuan with dumbfounded expressions.
