Li Yuan decided on wining the 2nd Event, so he scanned the disciples of three sects to determine their cultivation realms.
Only two will pose some challenge to him, Jiang Yi and the youth from the Sword Peak Sect as their cultivation reached the absolute peak of Qi Sea Realm and just a step away from Sage Realm. He figured that they didn't advance to the Sage Realm because they wanted to participate in the competition.
"Was there a limit for cultivation for the competition?" Thought Li Yuan. Well, it doesn't matter. He should prepare for his fight as he will only use knives.
The disciples of the three sects returned to their courtyards and prepared for the 2nd Event. In it, they will show how dashing they are and impress the disciples of the Nine Yin Palace.
Li Yuan stayed in his courtyard and started making knives. Suddenly, he sensed a presence heading toward his courtyard.
"Li Yuan, this miss want to talk to you. So bring your ass out! Otherwise, this miss will be angry ".
Li Yuan rolled his eyes and ignored her. Like hell he wants to meet with a girl with that attitude. If she still makes trouble to him, he will deal with her with some of his methods.
Seeing that Li Yuan has ignored her, the girl outside became angry. She slapped the door of the courtyard and shattered it into pieces.

"Sorry about that! It is a subconscious action of mine when someone enters my courtyard without permission. Especially, if it was a girl." Li Yuan came out of the door and wiped the blood in his hand with a piece of cloths.
The girl's face turned cold and killing intent appeared in her eyes. She was about to give this pitiful man a chance by becoming her servant. And he dared to attack her? Such audacity made her cultivation base explode.
"You lowly man!" She rushed toward Li Yuan and her hand turned into a claw that reached for his neck.
Li Yuan's eyes turned extremely sharp and raised his hand. A wave of Qi covered it as he was about to use one of the moves he always used to beat the crap out of arrogant and crazy women.
He used the 2nd Ability of the Nine Forms of Void, The Void Steps to appeared behind her.
The Void Steps is an ability that allows Li Yuan to teleport freely in a zone with a radius of 20 meters as long he has enough Qi to support his 2nd Ability.
The girl was stunned because she couldn't sense Li Yuan's movement at all! He suddenly disappeared when her hand was about to crush his neck and appeared right behind her.
"Shit!" The girl turned around and lashed out with her hands. Sadly, her attack hit nothing because Li Yuan has disappeared once again. Each time she attacked, Li Yuan would disappear and appear behind. This caused the girl to nearly lose her mind.
How can a 2nd Stage Qi Sea Realm Cultivator achieve this?!

The courtyard walls broke about and the girl lied on the debris unconscious.
Li Yuan walked to the girl and took one of her two storage rings.
"This will be the compensation for my courtyard's door."
He turned around and entered his courtyard.
The disciple's courtyard that broke down was the Formation's Department representative, Fang Ping. His lips were twitching violently seeing this beautiful girl lying on the ground above the rubbles.
Cough, cough!
The girl started coughing and saw Fang Ping.
"Lowly man, give this miss some healing pills!" Said the girl while coughing blood.
Fang Ping stared at her for a few seconds before smiling. He nodded and walked to her.
The girl's eyes were filled with killing intent as she looked at Li Yuan's courtyard. Suddenly, she looked at Fang Ping with wide eyes. This guy actually took her last storage ring!
"You scum! How dare you take this miss' ring?!" Yelled the girl. Fang Ping looked at her with a smile and said: " You see, this is the compensation for breaking my courtyard's wall."
His gentle smile disappeared suddenly and was replaced by an emotionless face.
"Now, scram from here!" He raised his leg and kicked her away.
BAM!
The poor girl was sent flying once again and slammed into the ground.
Fang Ping nodded and waved his hand which made a formation appear and fix the broken wall. That girl is a hopeless cause and thinks that men are lower than her. And since Li Yuan beat the crap out of her, she will hate the Profound Heart Sect's Disciples. So why should he try to help her?! Even though he came here to impress some girls. He would rather be a monk who abstains from sex than impress a girl like her who would only bring trouble for him!
He rubbed his chin and said "Li Yuan, you should know that girl like her will not be subdued after getting destroyed in a battle like that! She would only bring trouble to the disciples from the Profound Heart Sect. Sigh... You should have sacrificed yourself and destroyed her in the bed to spare us from the trouble!".
Not far from the courtyard, the Elder who was ordered to supervise the Profound Heart sect disciples was stumped. That girl deserved a beating because she trespassed into their courtyards and looked for trouble. When she attacked Li Yuan, the elder was about to go and save him. But, who would have thought that Li Yuan will beat the crap out of her? And then, that Fang Ping who rubbed salt on the girl's wounds.
She smiled bitterly and went to save that girl's life.

After two days, Li Yuan finished his preparation and looked at his 10 storage rings with satisfaction.
"This will be enough to win the 2nd Event." Said Li Yuan.
"Disciples of the Profound Heart Sect, the 2nd Event is about to begin."
Hearing the Elder's voice, Li Yuan left his courtyard and followed the elder with the group to the arena. Before entering the arena, each one must draw a token to determine who he will fight in the arena. Those who draw matching numbers will fight.
Li Yuan draw a token with the number 10 meaning he will participate in the 10th fight. Well, he didn't care and only wanted the competition to finish as fast as possible. His opponent was a disciple of the Sword Peak Sect whose cultivation is at the 7th Stage of Qi Sea Realm.
The first three fights were quite boring. But when the fourth fight started, Jiang Yi used his terrifying strength to suppress his opponent from the Sword Peak Sect. The image of the moon appeared above him as he attacked with his spear. His opponent couldn't handle more than 5 attacks and quickly forfeited the fight so he doesn't receive any severe injuries.
Jiang Yi stood in the air with his hair swaying gently by the wind. He pointed his spear at Li Yuan and said with a cold voice "Li Yuan, pray to the heavens that you don't meet. Otherwise, you will not return to your sect in one piece!".
Li Yuan, who was drinking from his wine jar, ignored Jiang Yi. Fang Ping, who was beside Li Yuan, gave Jiang Yi the middle finger and said: "No matter how strong you act, you can not hide the shame from Qin Yin choosing Li Yuan over you!". Fang Ping knew Qin Yin very well, and he respected her as a fellow disciples because of her passion for alchemy and because she saved his life before. He didn't have any romantic feeling for Qin Yin as she wasn't his type and only considered her as a sister. So that why he hated Jiang Yi! And what better way to rub salt on Jiang Yi's wounds than saying these words?
Li Yuan chocked in his wine after hearing Fang Ping's words.
Where the fuck did you came from? Do I even know you? And who asked you to defend me?
Jiang Yi's face turned purple from anger. His grip tightened the grip on the spear.
"Fang Ping, I will make sure to give you a painful death!"
