Chapter 22

"You... You.." Jiang Yi's face was purple as he pointed at Fang Ping.

"What? You are unsatisfied even when I let you win? What do you want more?" Fang Ping spoke with a loud voice and pointed at Jiang Yi.

"There is a limit to how much you can ask from me! Other than letting you win, I will not give in to you!" Fang Pang's face showed disdain toward Jiang Yi which caused everyone to become embarrassed. For Li Yuan, his lips were twitching.

The Profound Heart Sect's disciples couldn't help but cover their faces from shame.

A roar of anger came out of Jiang Yi as he threw his spear toward Fang Ping. He used all of his might in his throw.

"He is breaking the laws of Nine Yin Palace Sect! He doesn't have any respect for this amazing and heavenly sect!" Cried out Fang Ping as he threw multiple defensive formations.

The Spear struck the 1st layer and broke it instantly. Then it continued to break through the layers in astonishing speed.

Thankfully, Li Yuan moved and with a swift movement, he kicked the spear and caused it to spin upward. Then, he kicked the spear's other side and said:" No one wants your shitty spear."

Li Yuan infused His Qi, Body Strength and Soul energy in his kick which sent the spear back to Jiang Yi with a strength and speed far surpassed the 1st attack.

Jiang Yi's face changed greatly and released a roar. The image of a moon appeared behind him as his hand shot to grab the spear. He has his pride as a Cultivator at the Peak of Qi Sea Realm and will never dodge the attack of a 2nd Stage Qi Sea Realm Cultivator.

BOOM!

Jiang Yi grabbed the spear and tried to stop it. His Qi rumbled as it fought against Li Yuan's Qi and soul energy. His body got pushed back as the blood vessels in his arms exploded.

Jiang Yi released a battle cry and the Moon Image merged with his body. His aura increased explosively.

"Stop for me!"

After being pushed more than 100 meters, Jiang Yi finally stopped the spear. His hands were covered in blood and were numb from the pain. His eyes gazed at Li Yuan with shocked eyes.

In his eyes, Li Yuan has been changed from a nobody to a terrifying opponent that he must use all of his strength to kill him. Otherwise, he will be the one to die. He didn't want to believe it but he had to.

The audience was flabbergasted seeing how strong Li Yuan is. Even the Nine Yin Palace Sect Master was surprised. Her eyes shone with light as she kept repeating his attack in her mind to analyse it.

"He achieved a perfect harmony between his Qi, Soul and body!"

The number of cultivators who could achieve this could be counted on one hand. If he was able to walk further in this path, he will become unmatched in his current realm! She didn't know that Li Yuan was already unmatched by those who are in the same realm as him.

Su Tao's face became serious. Li Yuan was a strong opponent and he should use that technique and weapon if he wanted to defeat him. He took a deep breath and started to meditate in order to be in his peak state when he fights him.

Fang Ping's eyes shone and thought "No wonder sister Yin fell for him! He was a badass!". Of course, he will not waste this chance to insult Jiang Yi.

"Jiang Yi, you bastard who doesn't respect his elders! How can you show such disrespect to the Nine Yin Palace' Sect Master?" Yelled Fang Ping with an angry face.

Jiang Yi snorted at his words. Then, he bowed to the Sect Master and said" I apologise for my improper action. I lost control of myself because of Fang Ping' shameless behaviour. I promise you that it will not happen again."

The Sect Master looked at Jiang Yi. She planned to punish after saving the shameless Fang Ping. But, after seeing how Li Yuan dealt a heavy blow to his pride. She thought that giving him a light punishment will be sufficient.

"Three of your sect disciples will be removed from the event." Said the sect master.

Jiang Yi's face changed after hearing the punishment. He could only grit his teeth and comply with the sect master's punishment. He returned back to his seat with a sullen face.

Fang Ping laughed at Jiang Yi's pitiful appearance but the Sect Master's words scared the shit out of him.

"Shut up or I will castrate you!".

Fang Ping looked at the sect master with pitiful eyes but she ignored him.

"Continue the event!".

Quickly, it was Li Yuan and Su Tao turn to fight. The two stood up on the arena and looked at each other.

Su Tao's eyes shone with sword intent as his aura was sharp as a sword.

"Li Yuan, I have to admit that you are a strong opponent. Still, you are going to fall by my hands!"

Li Yuan stared at Su Tao and said "I am puzzled by something. I have never met you before the Three Sects Competition. Yet, you showed killing intent to me like I was your nemeses. Why?".

Su Tao's eyes sharpened and said:" Because you stole Qin Yin from me!".

"Huh?! Stole Qin Yin from you? When was Qin Yin yours?" Li Yuan was baffled by his words. There was no logic behind it.

"It true that Qin Yin was engaged to Jiang Yi. But, her heart never belonged to him! Her heart belongs only to me! I planned to crush Jiang Yi in front of her and propose to her in front of all the three sects. But, I received news that Qin Yin is actually attracted to a new disciple. And she even spent a few days in his courtyard! That disciple is none other than you!"

"You dared to taint the pure Qin Yin with your filth and for this, you deserve to die!"

Su Tao's face was twisted from anger as he looked at Li Yuan.

"....." Li Yuan was speechless. This guy... Is more hopeless than Jiang Yi! He even has spies in the Profound Heart Sect to just tell him the news about Qin Yin.

He wasted his time talking with this guy. He released the 90 Knives and sent them toward Su Tao.

A cold smile appeared on Su Tao's face as he pulled a sword from his storage ring. The sword was red and flames were inscribed on it. And there was something different about this sword.

Li Yuan's lips arched up as he saw that this sword is a Tied 5 Weapon. The difference between Tier 4 and Tier 5 weapons is like heavens and earth.

Once a Tier 5 weapon is made, it will gain consciousness and have its own personality and spiritual energy. And because of that, it would strengthen the power of the user greatly.

Su Tao laughed as with a single slash, he broke more than 30 knives. With two more slashes, he destroyed all of Li Yuan's knives.

"Li Yuan, what can you do now?!"

Su Tao was laughing loudly as he dashed toward Li Yuan.

"Die!"

He slashed with his sword and terrifying flames exploded from the sword.

Li Yuan suddenly froze as he looked at the Tier 5 Sword with a weird look. As a Peak Tier 9 Forging Master, he could analyse and figure out the personalities of any weapon. That how you tame these weapons.

The personality of this sword is too bizarre! Even he couldn't help but be baffled by it. It was the first time he saw a weapon with such personality.

"No, It can't be true! It seems that I made a mistake in analysing the sword's personality!" Thought Li Yuan.

He quickly performed the Void Steps and avoided Su Tao's attack. Then, he stared more at the sword with baffled eyes.

After a few minutes of analysing the sword while avoiding Su Tao's attacks. His lips started twitching and said " Su Tao, what the fuck did you do to this sword?!"

Su Tao was surprised by Li Yuan's question but he ignored it and continued his attacks.

Li Yuan cleared his throat and said " You piece of a shit sword! How dare you act like this in front of me?! If you want me to use you as a grinding stone for my weapons, stay still!"

Suddenly, something weird happened which stunned everyone.

Su Tao's attack stopped as the sword suddenly stapped into the ground. Su Tao was baffled and tried to pull the sword out but he couldn't!

Li Yuan's lips twitched violently as the sword was a masochist who enjoyed pain! In his 99 lives, he has never seen a weapon with this personality! He used the void steps and appeared in front of Su Tao who was struggling to pull the sword and kicked him away from the sword. Then, he grabbed the sword and said" You little shit, I am your master now! Follow me and I will give you a life full of pain!"

The Sword started trembling in excitement after hearing Li Yuan's words. The first user was a terrifying master who used him in the most painful ways and he liked it. Su Tao treated him gently and will always take care of him which annoyed him. But, he sucks up to him because he has some talent in the way of swords.

Now, he found Li Yuan who appeared to have better talent in swords and have a twisted personality which made him excited. He quickly changed sides and joined Li Yuan who will give him the desired life.

"..." Li Yuan stared at the sword and no words came out of his mouth. He thought that he has seen everything in the world. But, he was proven to be wrong by this sword.

The audience and the sect master were stunned watching this. Su Tao, on the other hand, was infuriated.
