"Such big words from a mere Sage Realm Cultivator!" One of the geniuses spoke with a cold void.
"You are just a stepping stone for me! So keep your mouth shut." Scarlet Peak was aggressive as he lashed at the person who just spoke.
The Old Man's eyes narrowed as he stared at Scarlet Peak.
"You want to enter the Ancient Battlefield and I will not stop you. But, I think you should at least make enemies with those who will be your comrades against the other race." Said the Old Man.
"I thank the Elder for his advice. But, for me, they are just a group of useless people who would never be able to help me." Said Scarlet Peak.
The Old Man sighed and didn't say any more. Suddenly, the void behind the old man was tore opened by an unknown force.
"The Ancient Battlefield has been opened. You can enter it!" Said the Old Man as he lazily waved his hand. The first one to rush toward the opening was none other than Scarlet Peak as his speed startled the geniuses. No one was able to believe that a mere Sage Realm cultivator was faster than them. They became ashamed by it and rushed to enter through the tear.
What welcomed them was a barren land with no life. Scarlet Peak who entered before them was nowhere to be seen.
"Where did that bastard go?!"
"He should count himself lucky! If I see him, I will show him how little he is in comparison to us!".

One group belonged to a Roc Race and the other belonged to Necromancer Race.
The necromancer race cultivators were using the refined corpses in order to resist against the Roc Race cultivators.

The Roc Race cultivators specialised in speed which made it hard for the cultivators from the Necromancer Race to have a hard time avoiding their attacks.
"Kill all of them! Show them what happened when they insult the Roc Race!"
Suddenly, the Roc Race cultivators noticed a masked man who has the necromancer race aura rushing toward the necromancer race cultivators. Beside him, two refined corpses were accompanying him.
The Necromancer Race cultivators were stunned and then noticed that the two refined corpses were mere Sage Realm corpses which disappointed them. The masked necromancer was a mere Peak Sage Realm Cultivator so they ignored him.
"Let me help you!" Said Li Yuan as he made the two refined corpses attack the Roc Race cultivators.
The scene was quite funny because of a sage realm cultivator attacking a Saint is only courting death. One of the rocs laughed and attacked the weak corpse with his claw. Suddenly, the refined corpse exploded into a poisonous mist that invaded the roc's body. The roc couldn't react to it at all because he didn't expect a necromancer to destroy the only method he has to fight.
The Second corpse did the same and poisoned another roc. Both rocs were at the 5th Stage of Saint Realm and the poison that invaded their bodies paralysed them.
Li Yuan appeared beside them and grabbed the two Rocs from the neck before saying " I did what I can. The rest on you!". After that, he used Void Steps and disappeared with the two rocs.
The battle came to halt as they were flabbergasted by what they just saw. Did a Peak Sage Realm Cultivator kidnap two Rocs that have cultivation realm of a 5th Stage Saint Realm? Are they dreaming?!
Killing intent exploded from the roc race cultivators and yelled: " Catch him!".
Sadly, Li Yuan used the Void Steps to the absolute limits and crossed a huge distance. The two paralyzed rocs tried to struggle but the poison he used in them was quite strong.
Li Yuan laughed as he would be able to enter the 1st Pulsation of Life Phase with the Qi he will absorb from the two rocs.
