Jason kept on walking

"'How to get money', yup that's going in"

"methods of assassination, shady but that's going in."

"herb gathering, yeah Arjuna would love this, it's in"

'Oh-oh Jason on the left, can we get it?'

Jason turned his head to where Boops was directing him to. It was another bookshelf with books on it but with Boops's direction, he spotted what he wanted.

"Boops its an entire shelf of ways to get your mana power higher."

'yup, this will make me one step closer to my go.... to benefit you I mean.'

"uh huh, yeah I tOtAlLy believe you"

'okay fine but you not old enough to learn about what I'm planning to use it for.'

"you know Boops, I'm getting that allot from you."

'yup I must keep you pure'

Jason gave off an unsatisfied hmph

"Pure? me? really? I don't think I'm that pure, besides you haven't explained what that tentacle magic was used for"

'haaa, somehow you proved my point without you knowing'

Jason just got confused at Boops's seemingly criptive words.

"????? what you mean?"

Boops was about to attempt to divert Jason's attention to something else, but then a title and a shelf were spotted out of the corner of Jason's eye. And Boops freaked out.

'JASON THAT SHELF THAT'S GLOWING, CHECK IT OUT'

Jason stopped in his tracks and hurried to the shelf that under further inspection was actually glowing a faint blue light. Jason looked around the shelf it looked like it was made out of the wood that the rest of the shelves were made out of. It just emitted a faint blue light, Boops observed the light closely.

'Ah that's right, its mana'

Boops exclaimed and then slapped himself for not realizing that earlier. Jason took a book out of the shelf. He read the title slowly and carefully

"basics of golem manufacturing"

The moment Boops saw it he let out a burst of evil laughter.

'AHAHAHAHAHA JACKPOT JASON TAKE THE ENTIRE FRICKING SHELF'

Jason also let out similar sounds of glee and evil laughter.

"eheheh awwww yeahhhhhh"

Jason's arms started to move. Boops opened a small void in the air for Jason to conveniently drop the books into. Jason started sweeping the books by the shelf into the inventory not caring at all about the title anything that was on the glowing shelf was going into the inventory. Boops was having the time of his life. He was laughing and giggling in glee every time a book went into the inventory.

Jason emptied the entire shelf and under Boops's urging, he went to a corner to look over what he had just gotten.

So he walked to a small secluded corner of the library grabbing books that caught his attention. And sat down. He closed his eyes and instantly he was transported to a while place. The first thing that Jason did was look around for Boops. If he was to appear anywhere it would be in Jason's headspace. And yet nobody was there. Jason got a bit disappointed until a crass voice sounded from behind him.

'what, did you expect me to be human or something'

Jason turned around and saw a glowing orb. Whenever it talked the orb would give off a brighter glow. Jason witnessed the orb turn a bit red after Jason wondered if he could see Boops.

Jason grinned as he instantly knew what that orb was.

"nice look you got there Boops"

'shut it, I'm going to get the coolest body soon, just you wait'

The orb gave off an even redder glow but a hint of orange was swirled into it.

Boops said to Jason

'Okay let's check out our new goods hehe'

A door spread in the while space. A regular wooden door and Jason walked around it to see if anything was behind it. Seeing nothing was behind it Jason walked up to the door and opened it. Looking inside he saw another white room except this time it was filled with a mountain of books just pulled over each other. Jason tried to look up but he could only barely see the top of the mountain of books no matter how hard he tried to strain his neck up.

Boops cringed at the sight and said to Jason

'my bad, wrong room'

Jason stepped out of the room and the door promptly disappeared into thin air the moment Jason blinked his eyes. Another door on Jason's left appeared this time. And Jason opened it to see another pile of books. This time it was much more manageable and was only up to Jason's shoulders. Boops floated to the pile while explaining stuff to Jason.

'so yeah this is your headspace/system storage thing, also known as the place where I spent the last fricking week sorting out information in. This is all of the info from the glowing shelf that you just looted. So yeah, let's get started'

Jason walked up to the pile of books and picked up one. He was about to read it but Boops stopped him by flying up to his face and telling him to read the most basic one. So Jason had in his hands 'the basics for golem manufacturing'

Jason kinda wanted to download the information, but then again he didn't want to face the unbearable pain of having information literally stuffed and programmed into his brain. Yeah, he would rather take the long but painless road for this. Besides he had plenty of time, right?

Jason sat down and started to flip through everything.

A few hours had passed Boops had even changed the room to give a soft green glow since he said it boosted productivity. Jason had finished most of the book and understood most of the contents. Which was new for him. It was probably the intelligence points doing their job since this never happened before.

To sum up everything, golems were robots. Robots made out of clay or stone usually. But they could obey commands and be very strong. Golems could be used for everyday life or for high demanding jobs which required a laser precision, though they cost a lot. They could also be used for war and many other things.

The book that Jason read didn't go too deep into it but each and every golem consider of a core, and the material the golem was made up of. There were also mana lines and mana circuits, each and every golem was customizable but it required a powerful enough core to use. The boop mentioned things like how a golem could switch its weapon's form if it had the right material and right mana circuits and core.

The core was noticeable the most important part of the golem though. It was like the command interface for the entire golem and if it was broken the golem would cease to move. Usually, cores were man-made and wizards and golem technicians could make them. Though it took a while to make and create as they had to write commands for them to follow on the core.

The part that made Jason even more curious though was that the book mentioned that monster cores when dropped and adjusts were made accordingly could be used as a golem core. Depending on the monster it could even work as well as its man-made counterparts or even better sometimes.

Jason was blown away from that. First of all, he hadn't seen a monster core drop yet. That was concerning since he had so many titles that gave him an increased drop rate. No, it was very concerning if he hadn't gotten one monster core out of all of the monsters that he had killed so far.

Jason started to wonder if he had the worst luck humanly possible. Boops walked into the room after taking a small break to see Jason kneeling on the floor muttering to himself that he was going to die by a god accidentally sneezing on him, or a truck running him over.

And Boops slowly backed out. Well, it was more like he floated out and then he continued his work. Later he found out that only intermediate level monsters and higher would even have the possibility of dropping and monster cores. Jason didn't know about this until much, much later.

Meanwhile, the wolves were having the time of their lives, Jeffrey especially was shouting SNAKOES like a holy command and hands would appear with bacon on it magically. The wolves' loyalty and gratefulness for Jason shot up.
