Day 2

Frick, this sucked. While Arjuna and Perseus were out doing cool stuff like getting new subordinates or being taught production things, he was stuck here swing swords and doing the exact same thing over and over again.

Jason already knew the 1st form like the back of his hand, you could take a single part of the form from a swing to a stab and Jason would instantly know where it was and he could counite the form from that exact point.

Needless to say, Jason's arms were buff and muscular after doing this constantly. His strength and stamina stats started to skyrocket. Unfortunately, the enlightenment part of the skill was stuck at 9/10 and no matter how many times Jason did the sword form he wasn't able to get it.

Even though Jason's strength and stamina stat were very high, superhuman to be exact, he would still get tired swinging and stabbing with a sword using all of his strength. The was a benefit now though, when Jason swung his sword he was able to create gusts of wind. He wasn't sure if those gusts of wind could do anything besides looking cool, but they got stronger and lasted longer the more he practiced.

Towards midday, Jason started to go on autopilot. His consciousness traveled to his mind-space while his body was just constantly swinging his sword. He had made the decision to spend the day working on the 1st form and the night working on Charlie's magic swordsmanship technique. Boops had agreed on the plan and then went off to talk with Perseus it seems.

Jason wandered around his headspace wondering what he should do. Even though his body was dying from physical exhaustion his mind was going to soon die from boredom.

He looked around the white space. The doors that had all of the information stored in it had gotten closer and Jason was able to see them now. He walked to a random wooden door and opened it.

A bright light flashed by his eyes and he closed them out of reflex, when he opened his eyes, he saw a room with plain metal swords hanging off of the walls along with a ton of books in the center of the room. The room was a bit like a dojo, a plain one with a wooden floor and plain white walls. Out of curiosity, Jason walked up to one of the swords. He held up one and looked at it closely.

At first glance, it was a regular metal sword with quality on the high side, but it was still normal. But if you looked closer, you could faintly see rose petals on the blade. Jason wasn't sure how they rose petals got there but weren't painted on or inscribed it was like they were always part fo the sword. Even though it could only be seen faintly Jason had a feeling that the petals would slowly become more discernable in the near future. Now if Jason looked around closely he could see the rose petals everywhere. If he walked to the walls the small outline of a petal could be seen. On the floor was well nothing but Jason was sure that it could appear if he tried.

Boops was gone talking to Perseus about something, so he wasn't able to ask him what this room was for, but since it was his brain space and everything in their shouldn't be anything threatening to him right?

After looking around to room for more signs of the rose petals and not being able to find any and after looking through a few books Jason left the room. When he closed the door he looked a bit more closely at the seemingly plain wooden door.

Swords were etched into the door, and occasionally a single petal was carved in a sword. Jason looked at the signboard on the side of the door. That room was the swordsmanship room. Where all of the information and knowledge of swords were stored.

Jason smiled to himself, this was actually pretty cool. He didn't know what the rose petals meant, maybe it had something to do with his rose knight job. No wait, it definitely had something to do with it, he wasn't an idiot.

He walked to the door on his right and opened it. Again the bright light flashed before his eyes. When he opened them again a few things struck him. The first was that he couldn't see the familiar white walls, instead, it had more of a dark aura. A comfortable dark aura. The walls were black and grey. With 3 white lines dividing them in half with the black on the bottom and the grey on top. Instead of Books in the center like usual, it was a chair and a very familiar pc.

That was it. Just a small gaming set up in the middle of the room with the different colored walls being the only thing different from a normal room. With nowhere else to go, Jason walked up to the chair and sat down.

He looked at the mouse, keyboard, and monitor, and smiled. This was his old gaming set up back at earth the one that he bought with his own money. He treasured the parts like they were parts of his human body. He went through so much to get them too. But it was all worth it, the memories that he made on that specific computer.

Screaming at the hard bosses killing him for the umpteenth time. Trying to avoid the onion chopping ninjas as a favorite character passed on. Laughing as he watched some player screw himself over on a big pvp fight. Yeah, those were good times.

Jason shook the mouse and the screen lit up. He put in the password Jasonisawsome like usual and signed into his computer. His eyes widened as he saw all of the apps that appeared on his home screen. His eyes started to scan down, each and every one of them he remembered playing. From DeathCause to Overtale to Shaftcraft heck even League of Lights was a bit fun.

He clicked on one of his favorite games Breath of the Wilderness, it was a open-world game that focused on adventure and exploring. It was a game close to Jason's heart and as he started it up and the familiar title screen came up. Something strange happened.

A mechanical noise started to sound around Jason and soon screens started to drop next to him and around him. Soon these screens all turned on. And Jason was now put into a VR world of that game.

Jason definitely was going to enjoy this. He spent a few hours playing around, trying out other games, some games didn't have the giant surround screen thing, games like Overtale that were meant to be played on one screen. Sadly while he was playing a bit around in Blue Life Forgiveness 2 Boops jumped into the room.

'Oh! there you are, I was looking for you anyways it's almost night you should start trying to practice the magic swordsman technique it might take you a while to find the groove so you can come back in here, but I'm sure you'll get it eventually.

Jason went out of the mind space making sure that he could look at the sign plate at the door. It read "gaming" and the door again had the black and grey separate by 3 white lines along with little controllers on the door.

Jason didn't know what those rooms were now anymore. But they definitely weren't just rooms for storing books and information they were something else. But that was for later he was sure.

He opened his closed eyes and looked around. It really was almost dark. He started to channel his mana like how the skill precise strike did. Boops had advised him to just use plain mana for now since he wasn't sure how to transform it into the elements like how Charlie did.

So Jason's mana manipulation skills started to get EXP while Jason tried his best to control the weird stream of blue energy that was flowing through his body. To be honest it felt like he was trying to untie a knot while both of his hands were tied when he tried to squeeze out the mana but whatever.

He finally was able to pull in a string of mana into his wooden sword. And the wooden sword responded by glowing, Jason employed one of the swings in the 1st form and created a gust of wind. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to see how far it went, but according to Boops, it went much farther than before.

From the mansion, Jason could be seen glowing like a flashlight. Unfortunately, the glow would only last a few seconds and then the strand of mana would fade out. But as he got deeper into the night the longer the period of time was.
