Day 2 continued 2/2

Jason defensively raised his sword up to block Lyle's swing. His entire body tensed up waiting for the impact.

Jason could see Lyle briefly grin, and then swing down with all of his might. A large *clang* rang throughout the field. The impact made Jason's arms shudder and tremble. His sword got pushed back to the point where Jason had to be cautious of his sword being pushed into himself.

Jason mustered strength into his arm and forcefully pushed away Lyle with his sword. When he tried to push back though, Lyle had already disappeared from his view and the feeling of the edge of Lyle's sword on his neck make Jason freeze.

"you're to slow, the second from requires you to be fast enough to leave your opponent in the dust, the 1st form is like a barbarian, direct and offensive. The second is like an assassin, surgically attacking the opponent at the perfect moment while dodging and creating the opportunities needed with your speed. "

Lyle lowered his sword and Jason was able to take a glance at him. Lyle did allow Jason to say anything though,

"you're way to slow to use the 2nd form practically when your training the second from. Sprint to the edge of the field while dodge and strafing periodically. Your agility should go up a bit."

Jason nodded and Lyle picked up his sword again.

"Alright, let us go again."

Jason swore inwardly and raised his iron sword. This was going to fricking suck.

***************************************************************************************************

In a faraway place, two figures spawned into the world of WOW at a town square. One was a black-haired boy with sharp and scary eyes, yet at the same time let out an aura of wisdom and calmness. Next to him was a golden-haired boy that couldn't stay in one place for too long. He kept on bouncing around the town looking at the fountain in the middle making a dumb remark about the lions head sculptures that had water pouring out of there mouths and just, in general, doing whatever he wanted.

These two teenagers were of course Jones and Najimi. Najimi finally regrouped with Jones and raised his hands in celebration

"we're finally here! let's go celebrate!"

"no you idiot, we have a lot of work ahead of us, we can celebrate when we make a guild"

Najimi crossed his arms unhappily at Jones's pessimistic remark

"Hmph, you're no fun"

Jones ignored Najimi's provoking remark and dragged him to the adventures guild, which luckily was right in front of them.

Jones opened the doors with one hand. Once he entered a few people paid attention to him, but not too many, most of them just didn't care too much about the newcomers. The ones who did look at the duo either got scared by Jones's eyes and quickly turned their eyes elsewhere. Or they looked at Najimi's friendly face and got confused as to why they felt a strange affinity to him.

The two walked to the desk, well it was more like Jones dragged Najimi along, Najimi kept on trying to escape as the stuffed bear in the center of the guild had caught his attention. Jones said to the guild receptionist who was lazily sitting there with a tired expression on.

"what do you want?"

she said in a lazy tone

"I'm here to make a guild"

"50 gold coins"

"I'm sorry I thought you said 50 gold coins, haha"

The receptionist didn't even look at Jones she was too lazy to get up from her sleeping position.

"its 50 gold coins to make a guild, no exceptions"

Chaos erupted in Jones's mind, Najimi gave a small nervous laugh because he knew what would happen when Jones had that look on his face. It meant that they were going on a grind.

Jones slammed his hand onto the table

"give me the quests with the largest rewards"

The receptionist lazily answered

"whats your rank?"

Jones nervously scratched his head

"uh about that...."

"if you don't have an adventure's card then you can't even accept quests, put your hand on the orb on the left of me, and tell me what color it shines."

Jones did as told and placed his right hand on the orb. The orb after a few seconds shone a white light. He told the receptionist who answered

"Alright, now the other kid"

Najimi stepped up like he was receiving a reward

"yup, yup my turn!"

And then slapped his hand onto the orb. The orb seemed like it was processing for a bit and then it leaked out a white light with a darkish tint on the edge.

Jones reached for Najimi's mouth to clamp shut, but it was too late. Najimi said instantly

"huh pretty cool, it's white with a black tint on the side"

Jones almost collapsed in the pain and anguish that he felt at that moment when Najimi obliviously told the receptionist the colors. His brain kicked into overdrive he tried to figure out the easiest way to get out of the situation. He first thought about going out by force, but judging from all of the ripped men and women surrounding him, he could get within a few feet of the exit without getting mashed into a paste. He then thought about taking it out, but he remembered suddenly that Najimi was definitely going to screw it up somehow.

So what was the last option? Well, it was to pretend he didn't know Najimi, part of him was screaming "good riddance annoying twat!!!" A quarter of him was also celebrating over the fact that the twat was going away, and the last part of Jones thought about how he would get in trouble if he left Najimi here. Oh yeah and maybe like .05% of him was worrying about Najimi's wellbeing.

Thankfully before Jones started to shout out

"officer I don't know the man"

The receptionist just answered

"Alright, that's fine, your cards will come tomorrow come back here to get them"

The receptionist then gave them the shooing motion and the two walked away, dumbfounded at what just happened. Well, Najimi had no idea what was going on anyway, but still. The two exited the adventures guild in complete silence. The moment they stepped out though, Jones grabbed Najimi by the shoulder and said in an ice-cold voice.

"We literally just got out of the beginner's village, what in bloody &^*^ have you done to get that black tint huh?"

Najimi averted his eyes with sweat pouring down his face. Jones said in a deeper growl

"you're going to tell me what you did or your body's going to get charged to a crisp"

Najimi's sweat started to pool underneath him as he tried to struggle out of Jones's grip. Thanks to the class difference and the amount of stats placed into strength and stamina Najimi managed to escape out of his hold.

When he got free Najimi instantly jumped away a few feet and shouted to Jones who raised his staff in preparation for firing a fireball.

"we'll meet here at sunrise okay!"

He then dashed off looking behind periodically to make sure a fireball wasn't on his back.

Jones was really tempted to shoot a fireball at the retreating Najimi. But after a bit of hesitation, he lowered his staff. I wasn't going to help anyone if he player killed. Especially him.

He sighed and tried his best to calm down the surge of emotion that had flooded him. He looked around at the town square. A place filled with races of all sorts from beastmen to elves and even the occasional hooded figure that Jones assumed to be a demon because of the horn-like shapes that were popping out of the hood.

Jones put his staff back and started to walk into off one fo the large streets that lead into the city.

He had an entire day to figure out stuff an entire day to explore learn and understand, maybe even pick up on some quests or something. He just hoped that Najimi wasn't going to do anything stupid. Na he probably was, he was just going to hope that he got away at this point.

Jones looked around one more time. The blue sky looked even more vibrant to him after being in a forest where it was hidden from them for a few weeks. He looked to his left and saw some large mountains covered in a black fog. And on the right should be where the ocean was.

That's right, he was in the southernmost nation in the continent. He was truly thankful to Jason who recommended this place. The southernmost nation. A center point of trade for the west and east parts of the continent by sea trade. One of the wealthiest countries if you didn't count the empires.

A place where culture and people of all sorts collided. and subsequently information and knowledge. The trading country, the country of merchants. The country of wealth and culture. The country Dreinia.
