Jason didn't even know the effects of the 7th form. The last time he had tried it, it was when he had awoken it after a really intense fight with the Blue 2 team members.
He didn't even know what was the requirements to use the form or even what the 7th form did. It was definitely the thing that his team members were talking about how a rose appeared behind them when they used the form.
From what Jason and Boops gathered, the rose and what the rose color and attributes were would reflect the personality and style of the user. Which meant that the super plain rose behind him reflected his personality and style...
Jason threw that thought into the back of his head and countied to charge with the group of wolves and green barrack members behind him.
His sword gave off a soft rose glow and his entire body felt energized as if he had just woken up.
The group of wolves and trainees were currently separated by a row of ruined village houses. Jason could smell smoke in the air, and the houses had broken down doors and if you looked inside you could see that they were completely stripped clean of valuables.
Jason saw one of the houses that were less damaged than the rest, its roof was still intact instead of collapsed like the rest of the buildings.
He quickly ran to that house and jumped up, he expected to just barely reach the top, but it felt like he was getting pulled up by the wind and he landed neatly on the roof with his feet gently fly ing down to reach the roof like a leaf falling to the ground.
Jason stood on the roof and looked around for a bit. A large group of goblins stood in what Jason assumed to be what was the village square. It was a large place that could easily fit 300 people.
The goblins were in the middle Jason could hear their cackling and sounds of glee even on top of the house, a few meters away from the nearest group.
They were all huddled near the center of the square looking at something. Jason could see some of the goblins holding torches and others with bows and quivers. Jason could even see a spear and shield being held by one of the goblins.
It seems his eyesight was improved as he looked at the goblins, he could now see the details of the goblins from warts on their bodies to the yellow teeth they had and their crooked mouths as they opened them to eat a lump of red meat that Jason had a faint inkling he knew exactly what it was.
A gust of wind blew past Jason. Making the little rose knight cloak that he had been wearing fly off. Inside the cloak was a brilliant iron armor. It shone and reflected the light like well-polished glass.
An iron helmet similar to a knights helmet was on his, currently, the visor was lifted up and Jason's eyes that had originally brown pupils were now red. You could see tufts of long black hair. He hadn't gotten a hair cut in 2 months and it was starting to show.
But as Jason slowly closed his visor, a red flame seemed to emerge from his eyes. Or more specifically his left eye looked like an entire flame had decided to float right in front of it.
The flame didn't have any regular colored fire. Instead, it burned red, red like blood and vengeance, but you could see at the corner of the flame, a slight familiar rose color.
As the wind passed Jason, it carried his scent to the goblins, who then looked up instantly and started to sniff the air, like they just found some prey. They quickly looked around until they saw Jason's figure on the top of the roof.
They all shrieked in glee and started to run towards Jason.
More figures emerged onto the roof next to him as the hundreds of goblins ran towards Jason.
The goblins rushed like a flood and once they got near the house they started to swarm and with a few shrieks, they started to climb up on each other's shoulders.
They clawed their way to the top trying to get closer and closer to the figure who was just waiting for them on the top of the roof, they snarled and their mouths were wide open drool was flying everywhere as they formed a small hill to climb up.
Jason just quietly waited until a voice from behind him told him calmly
"Okay, we're ready"
Jason rolled his eyes and answered
"I had to wait until the goblins detected our presence and are in the middle of swarming us and you have to stop for a FRICKING BATHROOM BREAK?"
Jason just got an embarrassed silence so he just shrugged his shoulders and gripped the metal spike in his hands.
He pulled back his arm like he was throwing a javelin. From the goblin swarm, a line of goblins was on each other's shoulders trying to form a ladder to reach the roof. The 6 goblins on each other's shoulders tried their best to keep themselves straight but the goblin at the very bottom shrieked out in pain and the entire goblin ladder started to slowly fall.
Jason gripped the metal spike and infused a bit of his mana into the metal rod. The metal rod accepted the mana and it started to glow a bit.
Jason released the metal spike and watched as it flew with a burst of speed into the first goblin's head in the front and travel down into the second goblin and then the third.
Jason half expected for the metal spike to just go into 2 or 3 goblins but it traveled through the entire ladder of goblins and even hit the ground.
The ladder of dead goblins collapsed into the crowd of goblins and created some chaos.
Jason held up his sword and jumped into the fray. Right after he jumped many more figures jumped with him, from wolves to green barrack members.
Jason slammed into the ground with his sword, a goblin was right underneath him so he sliced down on him while doing that.
The wolves landed around Jason, creating a small circle of space for him to catch his breath.
The wolves jumped into the crowds of goblins and tore at their thoughts with their jaws, others would tear them apart with their claws however they did it, it was a massacre.
Jason quickly asked Boops
"Hey what's the level of the goblins?"
'uhhh, the average level should be around your level... oh wait, its around level 30'
The sudden realization hit Jason, and he grinned and jumped out of the small defensive circle. The wolves trusted him so they didn't worry when he jumped into the crowd.
Jason wanted to vent a bit of steam, and with no inhibitions that he might actually have to fight for his life gone. He freely swung his sword around.
Jason ran kept on cutting through the goblins stroke after stroke until the goblins started to retreat away from him.
He finally ended up on the outside of the crowd of goblins and when he turned around the goblins seemed to think that he escaped or something since they didn't pay any attention to him.
Perhaps these goblins were used to humans when surrounded to fight their ways out and escape.
Whatever the reason was, it was the goblin's downfall.
Jason sneaked back up the goblin's who had their backs turned to him, and pulled back his sword for a sweep.
He used the largest sweep in the 1st form the form used for total destruction and offense.
When Jason swung he could see the clear area he had just made with it, fan shapes of goblins cut right through their midsections started to appear on the other side of the goblin crowd.
Some of the smarter goblins realized that there was a figure fighting them on the outside so they turned around to face him only to be torn to shreds by the wolves who furiously attacked from their defensive circle in the heart of the goblin swarm.
Jason didn't notice it since he was busy attack the backs of the goblins, but arrows were being poured down on the thickest parts of the goblins crowds.
And after a bit more fighting, Jason stabbed his sword into the last goblin. Jason asked Boops and he confirmed that it was almost the last of the goblins with a few strays that could easily be taken down and the rest of the survivors in the village were saved.
Jason told the wolves and the green barrack members and he could see them visibly relax, one of the wolves started a victory howl.
The rest of the wolves picked it up, and soon the entire village echoed with the sound of them.
A notification came up to Jason.
