Perseus drove through the city wonder what he should do. He was confident that he could make some money, he just wasn't sure what types of things he would use to get rich.
He had a large time advantage but he wasn't sure how he should use it. He had just earned 30 silver coins from the transaction. But he had spent a few on clothes for the new guild members. They were are still kids but Perseus had high hopes for them. He could already imagine them growing up to become the foundation for the silver wings guild.
And when his master was finally done with his rose knight training and campaigns, he could bring some of his friends to help teach the kids. That was something Perseus was really looking forward too.
In the meantime though, Perseus needed to earn some money. The new guild members were currently taking down goblins and rabbits. It seems they were already taught to fight a bit by the bandits already and currently none of them had died yet so that was good.
If they brought the goblin ears of rabbit pelts back he could bring them to the adventures guild to earn more money. Perseus didn't know how the new guild members would grow, but with the few specialized training centers in the unnamed guild house, he was sure they would figure it out soon.
As Perseus drove the guild wagon across the city Herdita he kept his eyes open for something that he could use in his quest to make a ton of money. Maybe something that players would need? or something that was useful for everyone.
Perseus immediately thought about potions but his twin Arjuna would be the expert on that. The cool sea breeze suddenly picked up and hit Perseus, the saltiness of the sea felt almost tangible to him and if he looked to his left in the distance he could see the sea shimmering while reflecting the sun's midday light.
When he smelled the salty breeze a sudden thought hit Perseus, this city was a port city, right? it was a good city for trading and also had plenty of resources such as the abundance forests right outside the city along with a literal sea full of fish for food.
This would be a good place for Persues to start as a trading merchant, well not as good of a place to start as the merchant nation Dreinia but that country was right below the lion empire making it difficult on its own right.
The real question was what did Perseus want to invest in? what type of thing should he buy if he wanted to make a profit Again he immediately thought about beginners' items. But what would a player need as soon as they spawned into this city?
A map, food, and maybe some health potions. Unfortunately, the health potions were not instant, they required time in order for them. But maybe players would still buy them.
Perseus's brain started to churn as he thought furiously about it. He wanted to make money, but he also wanted to go into the underground world of this city.
Jack was needed for that and he was currently ready level wise. Perseus was confident that Jack could easily take down some reapers and take a position for himself. Perseus just hadn't told him to do so.
Persues suddenly thought for a second and wondered
"Why haven't I told him to go do that yet?"
Perseus seriously thought to himself
"really why haven't I done that yet?"
Jack was now level 30 after a few days of grinding and Perseus himself was level 37. He was getting close to his master when he was busy training.
Perseus sorta wanted to return back to the house to tell Jack to go and challenge a reaper leader to get a position. But he was already in the city and it would be a waste to just leave. He needed to investigate the city and find what its merchants sold at a cheap price.
As Perseus rode through the main street he could see countless stalls on the side, each and everyone had a person inside shouting out loud to promote their food, clothing, and gear.
Soon after going through a few hundred stalls, he started to notice that most of the food stalls were fish stalls which in hindsight made sense since it was near the sea.
Perseus then realized that fish probably sold for cheap here. He couldn't believe it took him so long to realize that, but now he wanted to figure out how he could take advantage of its cheapness.
He could sell it to other cites. But they were pretty far away and it would take a few days to reach. But as Perseus thought about it more, he felt like that was one of the best ways to get rich. Just buy the fish in bulk and sell it in a city inland.
A sudden thought hit Perseus he quickly shouted in his mind
"Boops, the inventory that all subordinates of master, do they let time pass in them?"
Boops quickly entered Perseus mind and responded
"na, time doesn't pass in your inventory, why?"
Perseus didn't answer Boops as he was too busy laughing evilly. That was such good news to Perseus, if he could bring fish that would normally spoil into the deepest parts of the continent where it was scarce and sell it, well he could make a killing and that wasn't only for fish any type of food that could spoil through time could be placed in his inventory and he could bring it anywhere and it would still be as fresh as when he put it in his inventory before.
Perseus quickly parked the guild wagon and walked to the nearest fish market. When he entered he saw so many different types of fish, but he didn't really have time to see what types of fish they were he went to the nearest fish vendor who was advetising that his fish was just freshly caught by himself and slammed down 3 gold coins saying
"give me all the fish this can buy"
The fish vendor stared at the 3 glimmering gold coins and then back at Perseus who was still riding the happiness he was getting from learned the inventory didn't let time pass in it.
The fish vendor kept on staring at the 3 gold coins for a few minutes but finally, he broke out of his trance and quickly pocketed the coins and spread out his arms.
"take literally everything in this shop that should be around 3 gold coins, from fishing equipment to fish it's all yours sir"
Perseus didn't expect that the 3 gold coins would be worth that much but he quickly went to the fish and started to load them onto his wagon to avoid people seeing him put it into his inventory.
The fish vendor helped Perseus load the stuff into the wagon, thanking him profusely, Perseus sorta knew why but he really thought that he could make much more than 3 coins with all of the fish that he was getting. Plus he had just gotten a bunch of fishing equipment that he could use to fish for more fish.
Once everything was loaded onto the wagon Perseus set off, and the moment he was out of sight of the fish merchant he leaned back and quickly put all of the fish and fishing equipment into his inventory.
Perseus set his course to the guild house were according to the guild map that he had access to at all times Jack was still at helping out a new group of new guild members to clean up.
Perseus drove down the main street, while numerous people's gazes were attracted to the handsome blond person who drove down the main street with a cold but elegant expression, as they saw the guild emblem on the wagon he was ridding on. Some couldn't help but have it imprinted on their minds.
Two silver wings intersecting with each other who knows perhaps they would all see that guild emblem soon waving on top of a majestic guild center in the city or even on top of a large castle. The future was bright for this guild.
The young guild master of this small guild was currently getting excited over the fact that he just got some fish and some equipment. It was a humble begging very humble but everyone had to start from somewhere, some had to get trained in the nations best knighthood training center, others had to get trained by master archers and taught by skilled alchemists, and others were simply starting out buying fish with the intension of selling it.
That was Perseus's begging not as flashy as his twins or masters, but he would definitely make a large impact, not any smaller than the other two.
