BANG

Jones slammed his hands on the table.

"I know Luna enabled you to not have to go to school every day, but WHAT THE HECK NOT GOING TO SCHOOL AT ALL AFTER THAT? WHAT ARE WE? CHOPPED LIVER?"

Jason coughed awkwardly at Jones's outburst in the cafeteria. Everyone in the cafeteria was staring at him and Jones. Jason looked at the rest of the tall cat guild members for help. Aiden and Mika both turned their heads away simultaneously when he looked at them and then started to argue about how the other person was copying him or her.

Jason looked at Gabriel who crossed his arms and looked at Jason with a smile. Najimi gave a small wave from behind him and went back into eating his sandwich.

In desperation, Jason looked towards the last person in the tall cats guild, the guild master and president of the club. Luna sat at the end of the table elegantly drinking her tea as a tray of sweets and confectionaries were spread in front of her decorated with blue and pink flowers. She gave Jason a glittering smile and watched Jones proceeded to scold Jason while sipping her tea.

Jason sat with his head bowed. He wanted to argue that it wasn't his fault. But it really was and the sense of guilt that he had kept him sitting.

After Jones's lecture about how he shouldn't miss school since it was a valuable time. Jones sighed and asked him.

"so, what have you been doing these days?"

Jason looked up and looked at Jones and the rest with a grin.

"so much, I and my brothers are doing really well I can tell you that."

Jones collapsed back into the bench.

"yeah," he said bitterly "I could tell since you didn't even attempt to contact any of us for help"

Jason sat on the bench and took a huge mouthful of the tuna sandwich he had bought.

"does that mean that you need help?"

Jones shook his head

"not at all" he paused to look at Luna who was watching both of them interact with interest "in fact, we are extremely close to becoming a guild, though we got the gold we needed through some well, unfair means"

Jason looked at Luna, he knew that she had to have some influence if she was able to allow him to not be required to go to school and that family she mentioned. The tall cats might have the potential if this "family" was as strong or influential as Jason had thought. Though it was a bit weird that they might fully invest in a bunch of high schoolers.

Jason leaned his elbows on the flimsy table

"so what have you guys been up to?"

Masuda gave a short snort and pushed up his glasses

"Besides playing WOW? nothing, almost every single game besides WOW has declined so we have fully dedicated the club to it, but what we have been doing in WOW is a different thing. Since we are based in the merchant country we are able to make more money using trades and quests. We do have some competition their though."

Jason cocked his head

"really? it's still an early stage for the game"

Aiden who overheard their conversation smalled his fists into the table and yelled out

"that damn 4 eyed prick! I don't know why he's so bent on harassing us!"

Masuda flinched at Aiden's accidental insult and replied softly

"Savant is part of the Hallewell family, we shouldn't antagonize them"

Aiden responded angrily

"but they claimed hunting spots that we took first and even forced us to abandon a quest once. They even tried to PK Jones and Najimi back at the beginner's village."

Masuda didn't respond. He knew of Lunas family's influence, he knew that fighting against the heir of the Hallewell in the early stages of the game would prove detrimental to their foundation. They needed to endure it and continue to work to get a guild set up in the game. Then they could finally be recognized by the adventures guild and begging the process of expanding their influence and claim a territory.

Jones shook his head

"he's probably harassing us because of me and Najimi we probably injured his delicate pride or something"

Najimi let out a cackle thinking about how he and Jones screwed Savant and his followers over a while ago.

Luna gently set her teacup down.

"so Jason," she said with a dangerous smile "how have you been? It's been a while since we have seen you?"

Jason felt a chill run down his spine, he tried to ignore it

"well Luna, I and one of my brothers have set up camp in the Belusian kingdom"

Masuda had an expression of interest as he remarked

"ah that's right, the small country in the east huh is it the one that has the famed navy? or is known for its technological prowess?"

Jason nodded

"yeah it's the one with the navy"

"Ohh so have you been trying to expand towards the sea?"

Jason laughed

"no," he said "the country is kinda in chaos right now, bandits and monsters are rampaging in the lands"

The tall cat guild members expressed their condolences to Jason. But Jason didn't feel sorrowful at all. In fact, he was ready to take advantage of the bandits and monsters to increase his reputation, and since the Belusain kingdom wasn't a hotspot for players to start in since it was far away from the empires and other key points he could potentially have a complete monopoly over it.

As Jason smilled over the thought of many bandits and monsters waiting to become his Exp and loot the bell rang and most of the students all hurriedly started to pack up or shove the remaining food in their mouth.

Jason and most of the tall cats guild besides Luna were in the second party and they all hurried started to cram their food into their mouths.

Jason emerged out of the cafeteria doors with crumbs of bread on his mouth and his mouth still stuffed with food.

He walked down the road thinking about the next class he had. It was intresting to see the student's expression as he walked into the class. A few were in complete disbelief, one girl even tried to grasp his cheek to make sure he was real.

For most of the class period, he could feel numerous gazes directed towards him.

Jason walked through the open door to the classroom. As he walked through the doorway the entire class that was full of chatter and noise instantly quietened down as if he was the teacher.

Jason quietly walked to his old seat with everyone staring at him. His head started to pound and he started to get flustered as everyone seemed to bore holes into him with their eyes. He was fine if people only gave a small glimpse at him. But the people in this class were full-on staring at him.

Especially the girl who sat behind him. Jason was pretty sure he saw some drool fall out of her mouth while she fixated stared at his back when he turned to look at the clock on the wall.

Jason was stupidly ignorant of the effects of the charm. But to each of the classes, it was like a bomb had been dropped into their room. Before Jason was just a really handsome looking person. He seemed nice, though a bit awkward and most people could talk to him normally though sometimes he would want some alone time.

But now, holy crap. Eyes that seemed to be shaped in perfect shapes, brown-colored pupils that seemed to captivate a person as you looked into them. Black raven hair that was smooth and glistened under the light streaming through the windows.

All of the girls and even a few of the boys in the class gave a thumbs up to whoever created this handsome person. Because holy crap this was too much.

He had a magnetism to him that naturally drew a person's eye and there was almost a certainty that if he spoke, everybody would listen.

Meanwhile, while everyone was gushing over Jason. The person in question lazy sat in his chair not paying any attention to the class. But instead, thinking about how he would get the most points out of the next period.

P.E physical education. A cursed name to some and a heavenly name to others. To Jason, it was the latter. From what Najimi had said in his endless ramble about life. It was track and field day.

Boops let out a burst of unholy laughter when he heard that and Jason was extremely tempted to join him in an evil cackle.

What Jason didn't know was that just by sitting in his chair, he was getting more and more points from the people in his class.
