Jason smiled as Boops relayed the actions of the pantheon party and their skills. He was sure that they could become a good addition to the silver wings guild.

He walked around the guild house in a lazy manner trying to figure out what he should do next. Colby had some family matters to take care of and had logged out for a bit.

Jason had ideas for developing the silver wings guild. But he currently didn't have many uses for them or the capital to do so.

Like the secret tunnel in the master bedroom which leads to a huge underground cave. Or the barracks and training centers on the left and right of the guild house.

Jason sat down on a wooden chair and rested his arms on the wooden table propping up his head. He looked around the main room of the guild house.

The bulletin board on the very left was completely filled with quests. And the room was filled with tables and chairs for guild members to socialize and rest at.

Perseus and Jason were planning to install a counter in the front and also hire some chefs to bring out food for the guild members.

The guild was currently very empty though. With only 8 or so players and more NPCs that were just kids.

Jason looked up to the ceiling wondering how he could gather and recruit more members. Perhaps it was time to reveal to the world what the silver wings guild was and start recruiting.

Jason shook his head No, it wasn't time yet, Jason, Perseus, and Boops agreed that they should stay as low as possible until they had enough of a foundation to be able to fight off any people who had evil intentions for the guild.

Perseus and Boops were already working on the information hub, they were slowly gathering information from as many sources as they could.

Currently, their main source was from the rippers gang where Jack was stationed, but since it was the rippers gang, their information was limited to just the city of Herdita and its surroundings.

Jason was regularly getting information about the territory next to the one they were in. The one that he had to liberate from the bandits and monsters rampaging.

He really wished that he could liberate it quickly, but unfortunately the sheer number and strength of the monsters and bandits were too much for Jason.

And that was why he was at the silver wings guild. He would build it up, with whatever means he had to. He would make it climb up to the top, and finally when they had created a magnificent guild that could stand the test of time. He would march and free the surrounding territories from the monsters and bandits.

Jason stood up and walked outside. His heart filled with determination. The younger guild members were training hard, everyday they journeyed into the forest to fight the monsters and occasional bandits in the forest with the wolves.

Jason didn't know until much later, but the forest that they neighboured was actually filled with monsters and bandits. It was a huge problem for the city. As merchants had to make a large detour to avoid the forest.

He continued walking, around the guild house he reached the barracks where the training field was. Almost all of the guild members besides Jack and his friends and a few others who were out hunting in the forest were training hard.

Some ran laps around the field with the wolves supervising. Others thrust spears into haybales, exercised.

From what Perseus had told him, most of the guild members wanted to gain combat skills, so he had taught all of them the basics, from regular close quarters, combat to a bit of sword, or spear fighting.

Jack with some of the expertise of a rouge came over to teach guild members who wanted to become rouges.

The thing was, both Perseus and Jason couldn't teach the guild members. They could teach a bit, but not enough to make the guild members into real warriors.

Jason ran through ideas of how he could get people to teach all of the guild members. Perhaps he could recruit some experts, or maybe some NPCs.

Jason shook his head, he knew that the answer would come eventually. For now, though, he had figure out a way to grow the guild.

Boops jumped in

'so what are you planning?'

Jason shook his head and answered

"I think Perseus can handle the monster baits scattered in the forest, the guild members can also help him out, but I think the important thing is helping Jack, I think he needs to gain more influence"

'and how are you going to do that?' Boops asked

Jason stood up giving a small wave to Natalie as she walked out of the garden with her face coated in sweat and her hands covered in dirt.

He answered Boops

"the rippers guild respects strength, but they also value a few other things, for instance, capital and income"

Boops paused for a moment

'you mean you're going to give Jack a source of income? I thought they already have a small one of dealing out weapons and the "tax" on their territory'

Jason grinned as he started to walk down the trail that leads to the main road.

"exactly, Jack needs more territory, from what Perseus has told me when the Rippers executive fell, his territory broke up into little groups that fought for his position of power. It's like a mini civil war."

Boops urged Jason on

'yeah and?'

A glint passed through Jason's eyes.

"They were all once subordinates of the ripper executive, they bowed their heads to him, their now fighting for his power, but they can bow their heads once again"

Boops chuckled and updated Jason's map, he zoomed into the slums highlighting 12 areas in red.

He reported to Jason

'these are the 12 groups that are fighting over the seat of executive, they are all lead by some middle management in the gang trying to get more power, some are weapons dealers, others are illegal casino owners or even black market traders Jack has already crushed 2 of them.'

Saying that Boops colored two of the red areas blue. He also highlighted another large area green it was right underneath the two blue areas and everything above them was bright red.

'the green area is Jack's territory, while the blue is what he subdued, the leaders of those have already submitted to him, but their loyalty is low, I think they will try and backstab him if they have the chance'

Jason nodded and continued walking towards the city of Herdita. He could see it in the front. The huge port city, where merchants and adventures traveled day after day to seek out the treasures in the ocean or forest.

Jason addressed Boops as the ocean breeze hit him.

"tell Perseus, to bring Rocky and Swifteye to the city of Herdita, I'll meet them in Jack's territory, we are going to move out along with Jack's forces."

Boops relayed the information to Perseus and then asked

'what about the rest of the Parthenon party?'

Jason smiled in response

"let them hunt with the guild members and wolves, they should learn a bit about the people they will be fighting alongside in the future."

Boops nodded and also informed Perseus, a few minutes later he went back to Jason.

"Perseus says that he will come immediately, he asks if you can get Jack and his men ready"

Jason nodded as he walked into the city of Herdita. Flashing his adventures card to the guardsmen.

The bustling streets of the city came into view with people of all sorts of backgrounds walking down the streets.

The smell of food cooking wafted from some street vendors and the sound of chattering and hawkers were the only thing one could hear.

Adventures took up more than half of the crowd walking through the city. And more than half of them had names floating above their heads.

The sign of a player. Most of them had come hearing about the news of a dungeon, some were disappointed that nobody knew where it was.

Most speculated that it was in the forest, but many didn't have the ability to face the high leveled bandits and monsters that roamed it.

After players search through the entire city to find no dungeon, it was almost confirmed that it was in the forest. Only raising the strength and fame of the silver wings guild even higher.

Jason walked through the crowd, he watched each player carefully while Boops analyzed them to see if they had potential or talent. Sadly it wouldn't be as easy as Rocky. But Jason was sure that he would be able to find some talented people that way.

Boops suddenly alerted Jason of something he had been waiting for

'hey Jason, you have enough points for the calculation subsystem'

Jason nodded and opened the system shop.
