Booty kicking

Jason let out a strange chuckle and raised his finger pointing into the dust cloud, looking at the map while doing so.

"the leader is right abouttttt, here"

Juno gave Jason a suspicious look

"how do you know?"

Jason smiled

"trust me"

Juno narrowed her eyes pursuing her lips, but eventually gave up

"fine, lets go"

Jason let out a small chuckle and then closed his eyes.

A few seconds later he reopened then, shining in a pure rose light. His entire body seemed to start to levitate a bit, and the rosy energy that was always surrounding him started to form rose petals that whisked around him like leaves caught in a summer breeze.

(7th form Avatar)

Juno not to be outdone by Jason, spun her sword around as she pulled out some of the strongest attributes that she had gathered for the fight. She held her sword to her forehead similar to a knight's stance when he saluted a person with a sword. Her sword gave off a cold silver light and it left streaks of silver in the air as she brandished it.

The silver streaks seemed to emanate from the rest of her body flying in an upward direction as she seemed to focus on her sword.

"show off" Jason muttered to himself as he lightly swung his sword around to test its speed.

Juno only rolled her eyes, as she looked back at Jason, her sword now leaving trails of bright silver energy.

The goblin general watched as two humans seemed to utterly destroy the goblin leaders that he had spent so much time nurturing. The man who held two axes seemed like an undying fighter who never tired, the general watched again as he stood on top of another goblin leader with his ax embedded fully in his head any goblins that attempted to attack the man with axes would suddenly trip and fall never to rise up again.

Just as the goblin general was about to move in the help.

A sudden movement from the receding dust cloud caught his eye. Two figures launched towards him, one was a black-haired man his eyes glowing red, holding a sword that glowed blue and red.

Next to him was a silver-haired girl whose sword gave of a threatening aura, both of them leaped towards the goblin general with their swords swinging in perfect symmetry.

One of the goblin mages stepped in front of the general raising its staff up, it started to conjure something, but it was already too late, Jason stepped forward

(shunpo)

And in a flash, the goblin's staff shattered into pieces as it fell to the ground dead.

Jason immediately transitioned his slash into a stab, hoping to chain the attack onto the general. But when he looked up, he stared at an axe head falling straight towards him, with the goblin general grinning behind it.

Jason couldn't do anything but stare death in the face. For a second, he regretted rushing head first. But then a wisp of silver braided hair caught his attention, and within the few frames, before the ax struck Jason, Juno moved between the two holding out her sword to block the fearsome attack.

The moment the ax struck Juno's sword, she let out a small gasp as the sheer impact blasted her away into Jason then into the valley walls.

Jason grimaced as he slowly peeled his back away from the obvious small crater in the wall that he had made.

Juno had already gotten off of Jason, coughing and holding her shaking hands as she fell on her knees looking at them with a small amount of despair.

Jason looked up and saw that they had just been blasted past the dust cloud. In fact, the strike the goblin general have given had completely parted the dust cloud in half. Letting Jason and Juno look at the large distance that they had traveled and the laughing goblin general and mage at the very end of it.

Jason could see part of the large crater that Peppers's fireball had made on the part where the dust cloud had cleared.

Jason ran over and helped Juno get back on her feet. She let out a small cough as she weakly let out the words

"run, that thing is too strong for us right now"

The silver light in the sword that was now laying at her side had started to fade away. And even though Jason still had his avatar state up, he could feel a few ribs broken in his body.

Jason shook his head.

"you know what happens if we run, the wolves and guild members that are fighting right now will die"

Juno weakly answered

"They can be replaced, but you losing your exp level and items is a devastating setback"

Jason bent down and tossed Juno her silver sword.

"that's not how we play this game"

He quietly remarked to her as he started to walk back to where the goblin general and magician stood waiting for him with mocking grins on their faces.

Juno watched Jason walk towards them, watching his back the entire time, and something struck her, she wasn't sure what, but that back that seemed so elusive and mysterious to her before, now seemed huge and strong.

She wasn't sure why, but as she saw the heat from the crater rising making Jason's black hair shimmer and rustle around and the sweat on his face rolling down in large beads as his scratched and worn out amour clashed against each other the heavy determined steps seemed to echo in her heart.

Jason strode towards the goblin general, his sword flicking with the rose aura.

"Boops, guide me"

Jason's guide and at this point, his best friend answered him as quickly as possible

'currently, you have a limited amount of mana, aim for precise strikes that will take down the enemy as quickly as possible, you might have to play a bit dirty, but a goblins' weaknesses are similar to humans, they eyes the face and neck are good spots'

Jason nodded and got closer to the goblin general.

"back for more?"

It grinned pointing its ax head at Jason.

"yeah yeah, let's get this going"

Jason said lowering his stance, his eyes reopened with a newfound red light, and he burst out moving in a zigzag line leaving lines of red energy in the air.

The goblin general let out a laugh

"useless!"

It raised its ax high up in the air, watching Jason, Jason launched forward a second later his sword pulled back for a thrust.

The goblin general grinned as his prey fell right into his lap. The ax shot down, closing in on Jason's head.

(shunpo)

The ax slammed into the ground, carving a huge cut into the earth. The goblin general widened its eyes in confusion, it felt nothing being broken or squished under his axe.

(poison blade)

(precise strike)

The goblin general arched his back in pure agony as it let out a scream.

Jason stabbed straight into the general's back after he used shunpo to disappear to his back.

Jason quickly leaped off the general's back pulling out his sword along with him. But sadly he was too slow, the goblin general whirled around with one of its fists catching Jason in mid-air and batting him to the ground.

Jason collided with the ground, this time Jason felt this inexplicable pain come from his left leg where he got hit by the goblin general's fist.

Jason tried to stand up, he forced his right leg through shakey planting his feet on the ground, but when he tried to summon strength into his left leg, a wave of pain responded making Jason let out a cry.

Jason clutched it feeling the bone protruding and the shattered parts of it alongside the muscles that were completely messed up. Blood was starting to pour out of it, Jason hadn't felt such terrible pain in his life. He knew that the pain settings on full as a requirement to grow in this world. But it was sheer agony.

The goblin general walked over to Jason still hissing with pain and anger as it rubbed the wound on its back. Jason had no idea how it still survived, but he could see the green skin on the goblin's neck look more bubbly and corrosive by the second.

Jason let out a small smile, at least he got a bit of damage done to the stupid boss. The goblin general raised its bloodied fist, Jason closed his eyes wondering how death would feel like.

He heard the whistling of the wind as the first flew down, and the thud of the impact, but then there was a sound of shattering glass.

Jason opened his eyes again and saw a golden shield, in the shape of a hexagon break under the force of the punch, it successfully blocked it. But Jason saw the neckless that Colby had given him a while ago, shatter and fall to the floor into useless pieces.

With the small time frame left Jason with his hands covered in his own blood grasped for his sword that he had let fall on his side as the goblin general raised its fist again for another punch.

He raised it up, his hand shaking, with the pain of his left leg coursing through his body.

Jason expected death again. But this time, he kept his eyes open, and he could have sworn that he was seeing something because he saw the goblin general stop for a second and let out another roar of pain abandoning his punch and turning around to face a kid with a long spear who had driven his spear into the goblin general's leg.
