Courage

Today is the day that Rosie has been waiting for. For it was a very special day that will decide her fate.

One week had pass since they took their final exam now Rosie is sitting in her room in front of her computer waiting for the announcement of the result of their final exam. This result is very important for her because it will decide whether or not she will make one of the biggest decision in her life.

It was already 9:59 in the morning, it was said that at exactly 10 o'clock in the morning, the result will be posted. In just a minute Rosie will know the result, looking at the monitor she started to count down.

"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1" an announcement pop up in the screen, Rosie read the contents aloud "Rosie Despi average grade for the final exam: 95." Rosie's eyes rounded with shocked, she can't believed the it was really her grades. She knows that she did quiet well on their last exam but she didn't expect to be this great. Then she continue to read the next paragraph.

"Students ranking list for the 4th quarter: Rosie Despi rank 3." Information start to slowly process in her mind "What!??? Rank 3, my gosh I didn't expect to be this good. I didn't even know that I'm good in studying, does it mean that I was born intelligent but I'm just lazy to study??" Rosie can't believe it herself and keep praising herself.

"So this is what it feels like to get high grades and being able to get a higher ranking. No wonder why many students compete just to get high grades and student ranking. If I only know from the start this kind of feeling is so overwhelming I should have study harder from the start. Whoo I feel so proud of myself... hahaha."

Rosie still can't enough of this feeling when she remember something that is much more important. Now that she did well in her exams and got a high grades it means that she will now have to confess her feelings to Jackson. Today is exactly the perfect timing because Jackson is currently in their house to talk to her father about the progress of the business proposal. So she decided to wait until the meeting is over.

"Ms. Rosie, sir Jackson just finished talking to your father and he will be leaving in any minute now." Mr. Fred said outside her door.

She already told their butler to inform her when Jackson is leaving and that moment comes now.

"Thank Mr. Fred", she replied then walked out in her room.

While walking down the stairs, different kind of emotions build up in her chest. She feels so nervous but excited in the same time. The nervousness she's feeling right now is much more intense than when she was taking their final exam.

"You can do it Rosie, just say what you want. Have courage, if you can't do it now you will never be able to do it in the future. You have nothing to lose so it's much better to try now than never." Rosie keep consoling and cheering herself but when she saw that Jackson had already made his way outside their door and close to disappearing she immediately run fast and called his name out loud.

"Mr. Jackson wait....."

Jackson looked back then asked "Is there a problem Ms. Rosie?"

"Well.... I.. I...." now that she's in front of Jackson she don't know what to do and started to stutter.

"I...ummmm... I just wanna know if you already have a girlfriend? If not what kind of girl do you like?" Rosie said this words so fast that it seems like she's rapping.

Seeing no reaction and hearing no response she then added, "I don't know if you noticed it already but ask you can see I really like you. I already like you the moment I saw you on my birthday party so I just want too know what you think of me." Rosie said while breathing heavily. Her eyes were closed ever since she started talking, afraid to see what kind of reaction Jackson will make this time.

A few moments passed before Jackson finally speak up.

"Well if you really want to know then I will tell you. I like a girl who is cheerful, friendly, adorable and lovely. A girl you appreciates everything and someone who value family more than anything. A girl who sometimes acts impulsively...The one who pretends to be reading a magazine but in fact was waiting for me...."

Rosie open her eyes widely, she still can't process the whole thing immediately. She stares at Jackson with a confused looks on her face, she don't know but why does it feels like she's the one Jackson was talking about.

Jackson smiled then continue, "What I like to say is that I like you too Rosie and I already know your feelings for me from the moment you stared at me for a long time during your birthday party last time. But you're still young and maybe what you feel for me now is just infatuation, you will never know since your still young. Maybe your just confused between adoration, infatuation and love so what I want is for you to focus on your studies first. There's still two years left until you reach your legal age, many things may change and can happen during those years but when that time comes and your feelings for me is still the same and you still like me then we can work with it together. Let's just take this slowly. You don't need to rush. I can wait for you for another two years and when that time comes I will be the one who will ask about your feelings for me and the one who will ask you out and ask your parents blessings for our relationship."
