There is a reason why

Yin is associated with feminine, cool, dark elements of the natural world

Yang is associated with masculine, hot, bright elements of the natural world

This is why there is always a balance which compliment one another. Where yin is, yang is not far behind, this balance is present in the miraculous in the form of the Ladybug's earrings the symbol of creation and Catnoir's ring the symbol of destruction together they've passed this balance to their holders.

"I feel sorry for Catnoir, he's like a lost kitten wanting a good home, I've  never seen that side of him and I don't know how I can provide that kind of comfort to his lonely heart" I sigh depressed at my inability to help as I fall face down on my bed

"Maybe you could show a little more love, or just love him, isn't that what all cats waaa...nt?" Tikki replied in her teasing voice

"Tikki!!!!  You know I can't do that, my heart belongs to Adrien, only him, if he wasn't there maybe, an itty bitty chance Catnoir could have gotten a chance but my heart still belongs to Adrien" I ended trying to sound as convincing as possible, I didn't feel anything for the Cat, right?

"hmmm, you never know sometimes a present can come with it's full package!!!" Tikki sang mostly to herself while grinning ear to ear

"What did you say?" I began suspecting Tikki knew something I didn't and this was only confirmed when Tikki zoomed off behind my computer or was I wrong? As I heard a knock on my window. Who could be the intruder who would possibly disturb at this hour?

"Who the hell-" I paused in my words as I turned sighting the glowing green eyes of a certain feline

speak of the devil.... -er Cat!!

I went to my window sill opening it up to let him in, this felt weird and odd as I would soon have to start a conversation with my partner out of costume

what could possibly bring him here at this hour? , I hope he didn't see me detransform? ... Oh no!! This is bad, maybe that's why he's here.... No it couldn't possibly be, I am always careful, but on the other hand, I'm a klutz he is bound to see my slip up one day, no he couldn't have... He knows, he knows!!! You dumb dumb bug, you-  my mind seems to torture me at this point and I guess Catnoir sensed my turmoil, reading a bit of my thoughts

"Hey, I guess you're wondering why I came over, I just wanted to talk to a friend" he quickly replied

"I-I I'm you're f-friend?" I asked quite surprised, avoiding eye contact, for crying out loud, this is my partner!! why am I stuttering?

"I'm sorry if I stressed the word of our relationship, maybe I should just leave- "

"No!!! -" I immediately covered my mouth as I sounded too desperate, where did that come from? Organize yourself!!

*sigh* OK, you can do this

"I-I mean you are a friend I just wondered what made you visit my place, as there are thousands of other girls who you could visit that will be of better company than I am" I replied trying to clarify my earlier outburst

"Right?! You sure that's all on your mind at the moment?" he replied with a smirk laced on his lips advancing towards me

"You're unbelievable Kit-Catnoir, how can you be so cocky at a time like this?" as I push his approaching figure which only seemed to inflate his ego

"It's what I do! It's the purrfect combo for us felines" he said with his smug look on his face never failing to lose eye contact with me

Again! With the pun, even when i'm out of costume, you never fail to drop one do you?

Of course I couldn't say that to his face or my cover would be blown so I went with the closest thing to my thought with a deadpan 😑 look

"Alright! Alright, I'm just glad we are getting along that's all, it's..It's  comforting, thank you" he said as what I presume as his genuine smile replaced the previous look he had, I liked this look it's almost reminds me of Adrie- who am I kidding this is Catnoir!! How can they be the same?

"Why are you thanking me? I by far haven't done anything of any significance apart from enduring your puns" I said returning his smug look earlier

"Ouch! Princess that hurts!" he tried feigning pain holding his chest for a better way to help in his pretence

"Princess?" I asked cocking my brow

no longer puns? Now we're in the section of nickname calling? Interesting!!!

"Well, it just came naturally to me, you are a princess in my book, you did help me cope with my lonely heart and life, and I thank you for that, besides a princess will always need her knight in shining leather" he said flexing his biceps as effect, he never fails to seize every moment he gets.

"Alright Kitty, I guess time is up for now, I have a lot to prepare for before school tomorrow, something I don't want to know if you partake in" I said literally pushing him with the strength I could muster which failed miserably, I guess the miraculous magic has it's advantages as right now I wish I had super strength cause this Cat ain't budging.

"What.. What did you just say?" he asked still not moving even though I tried pushing with all my might again

"What?- " confusion clearly written on my face, what could I have possible said that makes him so interested and not budging, it's pretty late and I'm sure he has a school life, so he is supposed to leave now, unless....
