(Chapter 3)

The next day, Shyrveen woke up from the sunlight that peeked through the spaces of the window that hit his eyelids.

He stands up just to remember that he is in the sanctuary and wearing a pajama and decided to come down to look for any shops that sell armors or likes, what adventures will normally wear from the novels he read.

As he looked around, he already got the attention of all the people that laughing, snickering and mocking at him that he looks like a lost child. The shelter is more like a town. 'Han Sen said that after we got inside the God's Sanctuary, a room will be given to the person that he/she only had access, but because of my weirdness appearing in this place, it didn't happen... Maybe that's the reason why I appeared at the same spot for the second time...' He thought as he was walking towards the clothing shop since he can't afford to buy one in the armor shop.

But only to feel a hand grabbing his shoulder. Shyrveen look to the person only to recognized him. "Han Sen."

"You're getting weirder and weirder, brother Shyr." Han Sen said while grinning.

Only to received rolling eyes from Shyrveen. "Nah, I was going to sleep when the unknown pulled me back again in this place."

"... I see. So you don't have control over that thing eh?" Han Sen thought for a bit but can't think of a possibility for why the young man before him can do such a thing...

"Yeah, and it seems that I will appear again and again at the same place."

"That's a real problem, but not for now since that place was a little bit boring because of the ordinary creatures like black beetle is only inhabiting that place and so only a handful of people are wandering at that place."

"Good to hear."

Han Sen looks at Shyrveen again from head to toe and said. "And... Come with me, I have spare clothes that are more appropriate adventuring in this sanctuary."

"Are you sure about it? You're helping me too much that seems too good to be true."

"I don't know what's with me. Maybe because of the moment of being alone inside this place for three months now, that I want to have someone's company?" Han Sen shrugs and they walked towards his room.

Shyrveen saw how it is different from the inn that looks so shabby because it's was only made of wood and not cement. 'So, science is really forbidden here... Even a simple production material like cement is so hard to make.' He thought as he looked at the natural built by stone apartment standing with five floors that stretch at the walls of the shelter.

Several minutes passed that Shyrveen already wearing the appropriate clothes with a little leather that covering the fatal areas of the body.

"I'll give you permission to use this room if you're out of money for renting one room in the inn."

"No need, it's still doable for me."

"I insist. Since you really don't give a damn about the warning that I gave you last time that you will get in trouble if you stick with me, this is only the way to give you my thanks. And yes, normally I will not do this kind of thing but you're different and we do get along with each other like a best friend now in a fast manner, don't we?"

Shyrveen looked at Han Sen seriously and sighed. "Since you really trust me that much. I can only tell you that I got a Beast Soul of the Black Beetle." He said and summons the armor to stun Han Sen a little bit.

But recovered after a few seconds and said. "Not bad, brother Shyr. You have great luck that compared to me is trashiest. I didn't even get a piece of Beast Soul from those creatures for three months and you? Only your second day in this sanctuary and already got one..." Han Sen stops speaking and thinking something that made Shyrveen decided to wait until he saw the determination in Han Sen eyes as he looked at him.

"Brother Shyr... I know it's weird to say this for our new friendship but I must take a path of my own and can't join you in your hunt."

"That's all? Then no need to worry, brother Sen. I know and I decided to take the same path too though."

Han Sen felt relieved after hearing it from his new friend, they talked to each other as they reached the exit of the shelter and took different paths.

Shyrveen got back to the creek but this time, he decided to max out his Ordinary Geno Points or if not, the most possible he can obtain before he goes back to his world.

Shyrveen's target this time was the Illusionist Snakes near the creek. Han Sen told him the creatures near the creek after Shyrveen asks for him about it. And this snakes though is only above the Black Beetles in danger scale. It's still can kill a Non-Evolver that doesn't have a single Geno Points in his/he body with a bite to the fatal areas with their sharp and longer fangs, the good thing why he seeks them because of, he can protect himself with his armor that he got now and the said snakes aren't poisonous.

The closer Shyrveen got to the said place, the more he felt a lot of stares that aimed at him, that he developed from surviving the monsters from the Dungeon Breaks before he went to the South Korea.

But he can't see a damn thing that can distinguish the snakes from the surroundings. 'Illusionist... Because of how they are good at camouflaging themselves... But too bad...' Shyrveen thought as he summoned his dull armor and pulls out and grasps tighter the two steel bars from his waist and put them on his back for the first stance like a dual sword.

The steel bars have a length of less than three meters as his weapon to harness the skill of the Arnis fighting style. Even though it would be better if it's sickles but Han Sen doesn't have one in his room and it's already good that he got two steel bars from him.

As he runs, he suddenly stops facing a big one tree and shifts his footing and weight to the left and waves his right arm with the steel bar as he strikes the part of the tree.

But the snake that was hiding so well with the trunk suddenly pulled up its body to dodge the strike and bolted like a bullet that was fired from the gun and aimed at the neck of Shyrveen. That only to be shocked as a second and third strikes were already in its direction to hit the snake that was in midair.

Being a creature that is powerless on air, the snake didn't have any maneuvers to dodge the two steel bars that soon hit it's skull two times with pure strength and consecutively.

Shyrveen looked down at the disfigured head of the snake that was destroyed from the strikes that now is lying on the ground lifelessly. The second strike was more like a hammer that hammered the first steel bar like a nail and crushed the skull of the poor snake for the moment it connected.

'... Being aware of being stared and played like food for almost a day from my seventh encounter from the monsters... You're baby compared to them...' He said simply in his mind as he started to harvest the creatures in the place...

Shyrveen didn't care at all the corpses that started to be noticeable from the far and ignored the strange voice in his head as he kills continuously.

'Ordinary creature Illusionist Snake was killed. No Beast Soul gained. Eat the flesh of Ordinary Illusionist Snake to gain 0 to 10 Geno Points randomly.'

'Ordinary creature Illusionist Snake was killed. Beast Soul of Ordinary Illusionist Snake gained. Eat the flesh of Ordinary Illusionist Snake to gain 0 to 10 Geno Points randomly.'

And only to stops after the voice of the announcer sinks in his mind that he gained again a Beast Soul. 'Is my luck is really high in this place?' He wants to say it in his mind sarcastically but can't.

Shyrveen discards the thought and focused his mind on the appearance of the snake and saw the same thing from when he is summoning the armor but only in the difference that this time the snake went to the back of his hand and took the shape of snake tattoo or something that it's head is lying vertically to its curled-up body. The outline of the tattoo looks cool but he doesn't care and activate it. 'This should be a Glyph-Type Beast Soul... But why this kind of ability is in ordinary creatures?... Unless... There's a big flaw...'

He looked down as he can't see his body that became transparent and tried to touch his body and realized that he didn't become a complete invisible but only made his body camouflage like a real illusionist or quack magicians from the past... He took a step and crunches the dry leaves on the ground. 'Yep, so very big flaw...'

Shyrveen looked back at the corpses and tie them up while using their bodies like a rope and went back to the creek and cleaned them up as he hanged some of them on the branches to drain their blood.

If someone will come and see the corpses on the branches. They will feel spooked and creepy about the place. But he doesn't care, even though blood can attract creatures but it will only be ordinary creatures around the creek and he can deal with them.

He started to make a campfire and cooked the meats, even though Han Sen already said that he will gain Geno Points faster if he made a soup with it, he didn't do it since he didn't bring a pot or in the first place, he doesn't have enough money to buy one.

'Illusionist Snake flesh was eaten. Five Ordinary Geno Points gained.'

'Illusionist Snake flesh was eaten. Three Ordinary Geno Points gained.'

'Illusionist Snake flesh was eaten. Two Ordinary Geno Points gained.'

'Illusionist Snake flesh was eaten. One Ordinary Geno Point gained.'

'Illusionist Snake flesh was eaten. Zero Ordinary Geno Point gained.'

As he ate the meats that he can eat before he can feel his stomach to be full, he heard the voice in his mind again and again while focusing his attention on the points that he is getting, that is going lower and lower... 'Random... It's more like its decreasing as I ate, like the moment I took the same medicine for a couple of times and the body is starting to get a resistance to it...'

Then he started to train again and since he got steel bars now, the spending of energy in his body that being replenished by the meats that he ate is faster than before. Without care of spending a dime to buy meat now. This is a paradise for him as he can train now without limiting himself to the fullest.

Five hours of training while inside the creek passed, using the rushing waters that leveled on his knees to increase his mobility and dexterity of his muscles below knees to his very toe. His bare chest that has a lot of sweats rushing down plus the shine of the sunsets reflecting on his tanned body, women will feel and see that he is like Adonis that came down to the mortal world to bless their eyes...

And he stops, and ate the remaining meats before packing up again to go back to the shelter. Shyrveen doesn't feel rushed since he is alone now. With the only goal of dying while fighting to the end with the monsters in his world.

He is determined to get stronger for the sake of denying for being a coward from the past, to say that he wasn't scared of dying anymore.

He is determined to get killed in action for the sake of following his family to the afterlife and say sorry and ask for forgiveness, to say that he cares about them more than himself.

He is determined to die as he fights to the end to be freed of his guilt of abandoning his family, to say that he already deemed himself from his sin.

And Shyrveen stated strongly in his mind. 'And I'll fucking bash the faces of those people, monsters and creatures that who want to stop me...'
