BOSS LOOT!

Armin sat on his large rat and decided to start the battle by charging in on Ruggr Calvary style. Ruggr charged into the room and Armin started his dragon slayer art skill to have more damage and he slashed down at the massive rat's head but his attack only cut its flesh.

"Urg your just another ruggr... why do all you boss rats have a ridiculous defense. Like for real if I didn't have my new sword I don't even think I could cut your flesh with my old sword..."

Armin then jumped off Ruggr and commanded it to keep aggro.

'I don't even want to know how much damage it can cause if it hits me... I really need to get some armor so until then I'll just hang back and attack when I can.'

Once Ruggr started to attack the boss the rat gained the aggro since it was the only one attacking and once Armin seen an opportunity he rushed in a slashed at the side of the rat but the same thing happened.

'All right then, I can't cut into the bone so my best next option is to just keep cutting at it and since this sword so heavy I can use it as a blunt weapon as well...'

Suddenly the boss swiped its tail at Armin and caught him off guard as he was sent flying into the wall that was 10 feet away.

*DING*

(-180 HP)

'Holy fuck that hurts and of course it can swing its tail, I'm starting to hate this place...'

Once he got back up he received another notification telling him Ruggr has died again.

"God damnit! Dude, you going to make me use all my potions just lay there a die!"

When Ruggr was summoned again both the rat and Armin charged in as Ruggr bit into the boss's neck and Armin slashed its tail. When he slashed the tail the boss suddenly released a very load screech causing Armin to stagger but he didn't care he was happy because he was able to cut something off.

"Haha so how about you swing your tail at me again! Oh, I'm sorry you don't have it anymore haha haha."

Suddenly Armin got an Alert.

*DING*

[ Congratulations! Due to repeated actions, you learned the skill Taunt!

Taunt: If you Taunt an enemy said enemy will ferociously attack you causing 20% extra damage and in return, you will deal 20% extra damage. ]

'You got to be shi...'

Before Armin could finish the boss charged at him and rammed him with its head and he had his back at the wall but suddenly he had an idea.

'What if I use its momentum to attack it?'

Suddenly Armin pointed his sword at the rat's head and said.

"Well this is either going to kill me or I'll be able to cause some serious damage."

As the rat rammed into Armin, Armin's greatsword pierced through the boss's right eyes straight into its brain but Armin was crushed into the wall as he blacked out.

*W...

*, WARN...

*WARNING*

Armin opened one of his eyes very slowly has a feeling of sound kept going off.

'It.. hurts...'

Armin tried to get up but he couldn't feel his right arm and both his legs as his version started to turn red as he felt something cold drip from his head.

Armin grabbed an HP potion and noticed it was his last one as he drank it.

'I'm... just going to... rest my eyes... for a moment...' as he fell unconscious again.

If anyone walked into the cave Armin was in that would most likely scream in horror as they would see a giant dead rat crushing what looked like a dead person if the rat wasn't crushing the body they would see that both legs and arm broke beyond repair but very slowly his wounds started to heal.

Armin opened his eyes again but this time he could feel his body again but he felt pain like no other as he checked his health.

'Well... My potions heal 100 HP... I almost died... Why did I do that... it was so stupid...'

Armin then opens the shop page and searched for a health potion and found them but they cost 1,000 Gold each. He didn't care about the price right now as he spent 2,000 Gold to buy two of them and immediately drank both.

Armin felt his body didn't hurt much anymore, what he did feel though was an unbelievable amount of soreness.

"Holy fucking shit. I still can't believe I did something so stupid, what would happen to Jasmin if I was gone..."

Armin stopped himself and said.

"No, if I don't do this I'll never be able to save her... You get angry at me all you want when I wake you up but till then just hang on..."

Armin found his sword in the eyes socket of the Boss rat all he could see was the hilt of the massive sword as the rest was inside the rat. As Armin pulled the sword out it was covered in blood and brain matter and he then wiped the residue off on the hide of the rat. He then remembers.

"Wait... it's a boss which means BOSS LOOT HAHA!"

He then tapped the icon over the rat and 5 items appeared.

[ Noble Rat Hide: The hide of a Monster that once belonged to a Noble. Grants decent defense if used for crafting Armor. It can be sold for a good sum of Gold.

Armin looked over the items and was happy he received a piece of armor but was confused and said.

"Why would a rat have a helmet that fits a human head? Wait could this helmet come from the same place? Where the humanoid rats? Also, why did the XP appear on the loot page and not given when I killed it? Also is it the same as normal dungeons(portals) where I have to leave by returning to the entrance?"

[You may find out in the future when you're stronger. The reason the XP is under the loot pool is that bosses are an Unique enemy. This is just how it is and will be so don't forget to claim your stuff. You are correct but it's not always the case sometimes there will be a teleport circle to leave a dungeon. ]

Armin frowned at this but ignored it and tapped Take all and thought.
