Armin was waiting inside the waiting room of the humanity ranking foundation to have his rank checked when suddenly a female walked out a door and said.

"Mr. Foll they are ready for you now. Please follow me as I'll show you the way."

Armin got up and walked over and gave a charming smile and said.

"Thank you."

The woman blushed as she showed Armin to where he needed to go. Once they arrived the woman left as a man called him over.

"You must be Armin Foll correct?"

"Yes sir." Armin gave the man a nod.

"Alright before we begin I'll have to check your rank from before, it's so we know if there has been any improvement. Let's see... Oh, you where an unawoken?"

Armin didn't mind it as he said.

"I was but it seems I've gotten stronger so I'd like to see if I eligible to receive a Dungeon license."

The doctor gave a confused look as he said.

"Dungeon license? Sir, I don't understand what you mean."

Armin then that everyone calls them portals, not dungeons.

"Ah sorry I meant portal license, I've been calling them that because it just sounds better."

"Ah okay then please step on the platform. The platform can give an exact number of your mana just let the energy flow through your feet and wait."

Armin got onto the white stone platform as it started to glow.

<0... 100... 200... 400... 700... 1000... 1200.>

The doctor was surprised as he said.

"Wow, you must have been training incredibly hard since your last time being checked. Congratulations your now a mid-F rank. But don't think your invincible now there are still many stronger than you and should still be extra careful when going into portals. Now please sight here and we can give you a portal license and here is a ranking scale while you wait."

Armin was then brought back to the waiting room as he decided to look that the information on the ranking scale.

<0-500 unawoken, 500-2000 F rank, 2000-5000 E rank, 5000-10000 D rank, 10000-20000 C rank, 20000-50000 B rank, 50000-90000 A-rank, +100000 S rank.>

After Armin gave a quick look over the paper he just set it down and closed his eyes while thinking to himself.

'I'm currently at F rank with 1,200 mana but if I survive I can definitely reach S rank but then what? Technically I can get infinity stronger as long as I'm alive so hell I could have a million one day then I'd be the strongest human in the world and could probably fight every S rank in the world without breaking a sweat...'

Armin suddenly heard his name be called as he walked over to the counter and the women from before smiled and said.

"Thank you for visiting the Humanity Ranking Foundation, here is your portal license. Have a nice day."

Once Armin told the woman to take care he got his license as it showed a picture of himself with a large F followed by rank on the side. It basically looked like his driver's license and could even be used as one. Oh, the paper that came with it was an login information for an app called portal finder, Armin heard about this as he recalled an interview with the developers.

"So what exactly is the portal finder?" A man asked which one of the developers smiled and said.

"Well, it's like the name suggests the portal finder finds portals in your area that have been confirmed by our good friends at the HRF we are even working on getting a partnership with them to speed up the process. Once we do get a partnership we will let them set the rankers login information. Our goal is to help all of humanity with this app so that we can know where the portals are."

Once Armin put in his login information he received a welcome message and then he types in his area code and a few portals showed up.

When he tapped F rank he was shown the information about it.

This portal is believed to have F rank skeleton monsters with a high F rank boss.

Need's an attack.>

Armin joined the raid and he was given directions to the portal along with a timer but that wasn't the only thing he got.

Arrive on time to the dungeon and help clear it.

Armin ran towards the dungeon and when he arrived he was greeted with four other members

"Hello, are you the ranker who joined in?" Said a man with a beard.

"Yeah, names Armin nice to meet you."

After Armin's talked to the rest of the rankers his eyes landed on a girl holding on to a large backpack.

"Hello, my name is Armin I'm guessing you're the porter?"

The girl flinched and responded.

"Y-Yeah my name is Eve."

The girl was blushing as she never expected a handsome guy to even talk to her. She wasn't ugly but quite the opposite she was very charming.

"Haha, nice to meet you Eve could you tell me your rank?"

She suddenly looks sad and thought.

'He is going to ignore me now when I tell him I'm an unawoken...'

"I-I'm an Unawoken... I'm sorry to disappoint you..."

Armin just laughed but it wasn't at her.

"Don't worry Eve I don't care about that stuff in fact I used to be a porter like you so I know what it is like to have people ignore you. Just be careful okay?"

His words surprised her as she thought.

'Oh, he doesn't care that I'm an unawoken? Wow, he was the first to say that to me... Unless he just wants something from me...'

"Yeah, I'll be careful... Wh..." before she could say anything else another guy from the group walked up and said.

"Hey beautiful I overheard you said your an unawoken so how about we go get something to eat and have some fun later"

Eve could see the lust in his eyes as he stared at her body.

She suddenly froze and said.

"Uh I-I'm already made plans with Armin!?"

But Armin could tell why she said it.

"Yeah sorry man I and Eve were going to go see a movie after this." As Armin said this he glared at the guy with his eyes slightly glowing red but only the man could notice. The man felt like he was looking at a monster that could kill him with just a flick of its hand and he felt like he was drowning in something but couldn't move.

"Y-Yeah to bad I'll go..."

As he left Armin whisper into Eve's ear and said.

"It's okay I know why you said that and I hate guys who do that just tell me if he tried anything okay?"

Eve blushes even more and thought.

'Holy shit he even helped me out by getting rid of that guy and even ask me to tell him if he tries anything later!'

Armin could see her face getting redder as he said.

"Hey, are you okay? Your face is getting red you might be getting a fever."

When Armin put his hand on her forehead she blushed even more as she stumbled back while saying.

"I'm f-fine it's just uh hot out here yea..."

Armin was oblivious to the conception love so he didn't understand anything about it.

"Well let me know if you start to feel ill I don't want you to pass out from the heat okay?"

"Yeah... I'll let you know..." she said this while looking down at the ground. Suddenly the party leader spoke up and said.

"Okay everyone we will be entering any second now so I'll explain our party line up. First is me I'm a tank/healer so let me know if anyone needs help. I'll be on the front line and next is Armin, he is a damage dealer so he will be with me but since you don't have any armor stay close to me and I'll heal you when needed but words of advice get some armor ASAP! Next is are wizard his name is Allen but I'm guessing you already know each other Armin as you spoke together with our porter. Speaking of porter her name is Eve and she is an unawoken so stay in the back and don't do anything got it? Got it. Last is you, Jackson, he will be our ranger and he uses bows so stay back with Eve and protect her if something gets past. Now time to enter!"

While entering Jackson thought.

'Protect and unawoken are you serious?!? Yeah, right she can protect her self!'

When everyone entered the portal they arrived in what looked like a dead forest with an enteral moon in the sky but strangely enough, it gave off a lot of moonlight making it easy to see. The party then set off towards the center of the dungeon after awhile they spotted there first monster.

"Alright, everyone looks like the information is correct the portal has skeletons as the enemies. Even though it's alone don't break formation got it?" Everyone yelled got it as Armin's role was to attack it while staying close to the party leader.

Suddenly Armin summoned his greatsword and slashed down at the skeleton's skull. When a great sword was summoned out of nowhere everyone was shocked! They witnessed the skeleton get absolutely annihilated from the slam.

"DAMN where did that great sword come from?!?' I asked one of the members of the party.

Armin just realized that they didn't know about the system's ability's so he made up a truth/lie.

"Oh it's a Magic I have, I can bring out my weapon when it's in a magic state. Basically, it's a magic greatsword that only I can call out."

After he finished talking another member said.

"Wow that both cool and useful, wish I could do that if I could I wouldn't have to carry all my equipment..."

Suddenly Eve thought.

'Wow, Armin is a nice person and has unique abilities! He is not even arrogant like most people!'

Then the leader asked.

"Does that mean your armor is also summonable?"

Armin had an errr kind of smile and said.

"Sadly I don't I need to save money for something really important." That when Allen spoke up.

"You say you need to save your money yet you have time to go to a movie with Eve? If you ask me that's just bullshit and makes me wonder are you really going to see a movie with her!"

This is where Eve stepped in a said.

"I'm the one who asked him about seeing a movie so of course, I would be the one to pay!"

Everyone looked at Eve and just ignored the short conversation while Allen said to himself.

'Slut.'

Armin gave Eve a smile with a look saying thank you.

The party then left where they were and after awhile they were ambushed by a group of skeletons. Everyone then got into formation as they killed the skeletons that seem to appear out of nowhere. While they were fighting a skeleton no one noticed sneaked up behind them and the closed one towards it was Eve... When everyone heard Eve scream they all looked back but continued to fight as Jackson was supposed to protect their porter but Jackson didn't even bother to help which caused Eve to feel despair.

The skeleton raised its sword about to attack Eve but suddenly a massive sword flew through the battlefield and pierced the skeleton killing it instantly and when Eve looked at the sword she then looked at Armin who was now fighting with his fist and she knew in an instant that he through his weapon just to save her. She then collapsed to the ground and started to cry and when the team finished killing the ambushing skeletons Armin rushed towards Eve with a worried face as he yelled.

"EVE ARE YOU OKAY?!?" But when Eve heard this she cried out even more as she grabbed Armin into a tight hug saying.

"Thank *sniff* you for *sniff* saving me!"

When Eve let go and started to calm down Armin got up and rushed over to Jackson and started to savagely beat him.

"YOU MOTHER FUCKER YOU LEFT EVE TO DIE!! GIVE ME ONE REASON I SHOULDN'T KILL YOU RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!"

But Jackson wasn't able to respond as he was currently being beaten until he was left unconscious. Armin then looked over to the leader and yelled.

"THIS RAID IS OVER! Your ability to pick teammates is garbage and I will not be apart of this! I'm taking Eve with me and you should just reschedule another raid and I will be reporting this incident for attempted murder by leaving a fellow teammate to die when she could have easily been protected!" The leader knew this was true so he didn't have anything to respond with as he simply said.

"The raid is over we will be leaving..."

Armin rushed back to Eve's side as he carefully picked her up caring for her princess style.

Armin noticed her foot had a very bad sprain causing him to say.

"Don't worry Eve I'll take you to the hospital to make sure your okay. Just hang on until we are out of here."

The ex-raid team soon exited the portal and when the HRF Employee who was in charge of this portal asked them.

"Why are you out so early? Did something happen?"

Armin was the first to speak up.

"Jackson has committed attempted murder on are porter by deliberately letting a skeleton almost kill her! If it wasn't for me then she would have died!"

To his words, the team leader responded sadly.

"I'm afraid what Armin said is the truth, Jackson did indeed do what he said he has done and I witnessed the entire event." After everyone decided to tell the truth since they didn't even know Jackson till today in case this could cause them problems in the future the employee called the HRF about the incident and soon an agent arrived and arrested the unconscious Jackson and they would have to investigate this into further details.

After Eve gave permission to use her car Armin walked over to the vehicle she pointed at. When Armin carefully put Eve into the passenger seat he drove towards the doctors to have them check on her injury. On the way, Armin thought to himself.

'For an unawoken, she sure has a nice car... First time I've ever driven a BMW I8 makes me wonder if her parents go it for her or if she saved up for it...'

Armin then spoke up.

"Hey Eve you okay? How bad does it hurt?"

"Besides my ankle, I think I'm fine but it hurts really badly." As she said that she started to think.

'I think Armin is the sweetest guy I've ever met. He saved my life and even attacked that bastard who left me to die...'

When Armin arrived at the hospital he was able to get Eve looked at and he was asked something by a nurse.

"Uh sorry unless your her family or boyfriend I can't let you enter until she gives permission after she is checked upon. My Apologies Sir."

Eve was able to overhear the nurse and thought.

'Boyfriend?!? I mean I would like to have him as one but what would he think?!? What would mom and dad think?!? Would he even consider dating an unawoken?!? Wait does he even have a girlfriend?!?'

After Armin was sent to wait in the lobby he looked at his quest.

'So I didn't fail the quest because my team didn't die? So technically I could do it solo as long as I'm alive I'm a team by my self..' while Armin was in his own little world a nurse walked up to him and said.

"The patient is ready to see you now please follow me to her door."

Armin snapped out of it as he smiled and told the nurse thanks as he was shown the way to Eve's room. When he arrived he saw Eve laying down in a hospital bed with a cast around her ankle.

"Hi, Armin thanks for bringing me here again."

Armin just smiled as he said.

"It's no problem Eve it was the right thing to do. How's your ankle?"

Before she could answer a knock came from the door as a nurse soon walked in.

"I'm sure to interrupt but your father called and he said he will be here soon and you will be moved to one of our VIP rooms."

Eve could see the confusion on his face when she realized that they just met today.

"Uh, Armin could you come with me to the new room?"

Armin just stood in confusion and said.

"Sure I guess?" After he said that he thought. 'So I guess I was right she got the car from her parents but I don't really care about that I just want to make sure she is okay.'

After Eve was moved to the VIP room they resumed there conversation.

"So I'll ask again how's your ankle?"

"The doctor's said it was close to dislocated. But it's thanks to you that I'm getting better... So umm"

She started to blush but Armin didn't know why so he started to worry and he said.

"Hey, are you sure your alright? Doctor can you come check on her again please!"

The nurse walked in as she was worried something happened as she asked what's wrong.

"I'm not sure but she getting really red is something wrong?" The nurse looked at Eve then back to Armin and smiled as she said.

"Haha, the reason her face is red is because she is bl-"

Suddenly Eve yelled out.

"BLOODY HOT!! It's uh really really hot in here could you please turn the AC on please???" The nurse gave a smile at Eve as she said.

"Of course I'll turn it on right away." Before she left she gave her a wink.

Armin had a look of relief on his face.

"Oh, I was worried you were sick somehow. Must have been me but it doesn't feel hot to me but hopefully, she can turn on the AC soon. What we're you going to say before?" After Eve worked up her courage again she said.

"Umm remember when I said I would pay for the movie tickets? My umm offer still stands if you want to umm go... with me..."

before Armin could say anything a middle-age voice could be heard.

"Eve care to explain who this is? It seems you to know each other enough to invite him to the movies..."

Eve felt like she wanted to die when her father walked in a heard what she said.

"Umm this is Armin's dad... he saved my life when I went to a portal..."

The man raised his eyebrow and he asked.

"But I didn't hear about any portal breaking open how exactly did you get hurt..."

Eve paled a bit as she said.

"I went in as a porter and it where I met Armin..."

Eve's father was upset but he didn't show it and he stared at the man named 'Armin'.

"You may be an adult Eve but it won't stop me from grounding you when you stay at my house and you Armin it was? I'd like to speak with you ALONE!"

Armin has a confused face but he looked at Eve telling her I'll be right back as she had a worried face.

"So you saved my daughter huh, why."

Armin didn't understand the question and he said with another confused face he said.

"Um, sir I'm not entirely sure by what you mean by why I saved your daughter. Another man by the name of Jackson was supposed to protect her but he ignored her and left her to deal with a skeleton so the through my weapon at the monster because I was both pissed and extremely worried. As to why I saved her it was the right thing to do, she was in danger and I couldn't just let her get hurt."

After listening to Armin for a moment, Eve's father started to shake with fury.

"Good, good Jackson was his name, was it? Where is this Jackson and what does he look like?"

Armin smiled as he remembered what he did.

"After I checked to see if Eve was okay I beat the shit out of that bastard and knocked him unconscious then I ordered the party leader to strip the raid then I had the man arrested for attempted murder. He is probably in a hospital somewhere healing the injuries I gave him."

Eve's father smiled as he remembered what he said about this Jackson fella when he asked his next question.

"I presume you know my daughter is an unawoken correct?"

Armin said the same thing as when he first spoke to Eve.

"Yeah she told me the first time we met and I don't care about ranking sir I've been unawoken for a long time and I've been training to increase my mana reserve and today I actually got my rank evaluated reaching F rank."

His words made the man smile as he said.

"Hope you enjoy the movies with my daughter and I hope to see you join our family in the future BUT you better not do anything you shouldn't until the appropriate time... I'll leave for now and I'll come to see Eve later today."

Armin just stood there as he thought.

'Does he wants me to have dinner with his family or something for saving his daughter? Well, I wouldn't really mind...'

When Eve saw Armin walk back in she was very happy as she asked.

"Um, what exactly did my dad say?" She had a nervous look on her face and Armin told her about the conversation up to the very end.

"So he then told me to enjoy the movies with you and hope to have me join the family and not to do anything with you until the appropriate time. I got to say the way he words things is kinda strange, to be honest, if he wanted me to join his family for dinner he could just have said that and what does he mean by not do anything to you... ahh whatever, how about we go to that movie when you get better?"

But when Eve heard about joining the family she knew what her father meant.

'He would let Armin be with me?!?!?!? To not do it until the appropriate time? Wait no he couldn't mean that could he?!? But but... I mean if it's Armin then I would... wait no why am I thinking of this?! WAIT DAD EVEN GAVE HIS BLESSINGS OH MY GOD!'

Eve's face turned redder than a tomato but Armin thought it was because she was hot but he then said.

"I'll see you tomorrow okay? Oh and here is my number call me if you need anything okay? Bye!

When Eve dumbly nodded as he left she went straight back to imagining Both her and Armin all alone as he would slowly take off her clothes...

'AHHHHH WHAT AM I THINKING I MET HIM TODAY!!?!! But he gave me his number so I can talk to him more and then after a while maybe we would... no no no, stop thinking me!'
