Slaughter

[ Skeletons remaining: 371,930 ]

Armin had a dull face while just muttering.

"This... is... just... ridiculous... I've lost track of how long I've been here... Just awhile more..."

At first, Armin was excited about the horde even though he only got two XP it would add up all the skeletons but over time he noticed the XP lowered to one XP, and once he reached level 20 a notification popped up.

[Enemies are twenty levels under you, you will no longer receive XP from if your twenty levels above it. ]

"Well, what can I say at least I was able to get up to level 20 and I have a stupid amount of bones in my inventory... well hey at least I was able to fill up my death realm and also learned something new about it..."

As he looked at his skill page was looking at his soul soldier status.

When Armin stopped getting Xp he noticed he could give it to his souls causing them to level up. Once Armin needed a breather he commanded his summons to form a perimeter for a short moment and he has been in this same cycle for what felt like days. Once the skeletons reached into the hundred thousand Armin finally noticed some stronger skeletons.

Armin felt happy because he thought.

'HAHA YES MORE XP!! But now that there not levels 1 anymore they will probably do more Damage now that they have some equipment...'

Armin positioned his sword and swung his sword in a downward arc severing the skeleton into two. He then looked at his sword and felt thankful that the store also had mini grindstone as he already lost count of how often the blade became dull and needed to sharpen.

Armin was faced with the same problem as he continued to level up. But to his surprise, it was a blessing in disguise as he got a notification about Ruggr.

[Ruggr (20)(EVOLVING)]

Suddenly Ruggr started to grow larger as a blood-colored cocoon started to form around him and this caused Armin to worry as he should probably defend the cocoon until it finished doing whatever it needed to do. But before he could do anything the cocoon was swarmed but it seemed the cocoon was incredibly strong as the attack last didn't do anything to it so he just focused on killing more of the soldiers. After ten minutes the cocoon started to pulse as a ripping sound could be heard. Once Ruggr was out he looked a lot different as he was easily two times larger than before and some black hair started growing along his spine looking like a mohawk from its head to its tail. Its claws were sharpened but once Ruggr finished evolving Armin then received another notification.

[ Congratulations on fulfilling Evolution requirements for Soul Soldier.

Soul Soldier -> Soul King

Armin was stoked because his skill Evolved and he could now store 100 souls and he was in the perfect environment for it! But Armin did know what caused it so while swinging his sword at the Skeletons he said.

"Hey, what exactly cau- MOTHER FUCKER JUST DIE! Caused my skill to evolve?"

[The requirement to evolve Soul Soldier into Soul King was for one of your souls to evolve into the first stage. As to what you need to do to evolve the soul king into the next stage is for you to find. ]

Armin continued his slaughter as the number of skeletons decreased while gaining more souls in his death realm.

[ Skeletons remaining: 49,576 ]

Armin continued as the enemies slowly started to get stronger but his level wasn't able to increase by much but that wasn't the case for his souls. Most of the normal Skeletons were able to evolve as well as before they were just normal humanoid skeletons but blood-red but once they evolved they grew small black claws where their finger bone should have been while a black substance started to form.

'I think the Skeletons that where civilian and the skeleton soldier will have different evolution paths... I mean the soldier looks the same but they use armor and weapons, the bones are red and there sword and armor are black... is there some kind of customization option? I mean I like it it's just everything is black with red... but why do I feel déjà vu... eh, whatever I'm almost done with this damn field just a little less than 50,000 to go...'

The skeleton counter was getting lower and lower but in turn, the skeletons kept getting stronger and stronger.

But in the distance, Armin could see a Skeleton on a skeleton horse with both having blue flames in there eye sockets. The horse seemed to have a damaged piece of armor that belonged on horses and the Skeleton riding it was covered in heavy armor with a large sword on its back.

[ Skeleton General(30) ]

Armin noticed that the General never came down but kept sending the slightly tougher cannon fodder.

'Okay, so I guess he will be the final boss but he is level 30 while I'm level 25... Got to admit I've gained a ton of levels here... Well even if I somehow don't reach its level I'll just Zerg him I mean the only reason it doesn't work on me is because I have healing potions and mana potions...'

"Haha just you wait for fella I'll be there to kick your ass once I deal with the cannon fodder!" But suddenly he received a notification.
