No sooner than we had completed negotiations and my new citizens sent me the data I requested a new fleet jumped in system luckily I was between them and my new allies but these ships were huge wedges covered in weapons obviously warships and while I did send my standard greeting I also rearranged my fleet for battle. The newcomers ignored my hails and began attacking so I returned the favor by unleashing every weapon my fleet had and I found that while the enemy weapons were lacking their shields were no joke the full barrage of my weapons would have reduced even my planetoid ship classes shields in seconds but these foes held on for a minute. The smallest and weakest of my ships started failing they just couldn't take the beating that they were getting and exploded fairly quickly under the barrage. A hour into the battle I had destroyed and disabled six ships while the enemy fleet had taken out 30 of my corvette class ships though I had significantly more ships to bring to the battle the rate of losses were fairly equal percentage of mass wise.

I called up my options and deployed my surprise something I kept in reserve in the event of overwhelming enemy forces or if I needed to get a extra boost to come out ahead my surprise was thousands of missiles loaded in my ships all given a stealth coating and if they were detected I had installed a short duration shield generator a nasty surprise for any enemy of mine. My surprise sent I resumed watching the battle as both fleets pummeled each other space between us looking like it was raining rainbow beams of light in both directions and then my surprise hit and fire enveloped the enemy formation and I kept firing.

Plasma boiled off into space from my attacks and when the gasses and interference cleared only a couple ships remained intact though I made sure I would get no surprises and pummeled them a bit more just in case. Once again looting the fleets of data and technology and then I set out for my new destination it was time to go home.

Jumping home was a bit of fun honestly though I had new technologies to study I was actually looking forward to seeing my home world again even though I'd left my humanity behind and the trip out was a breeze though I kept busy. Studying the new technologies gave me some new insights into my own tech and gave me a new shield system that tripled my current shield technology which was not insignificant but I was even able to incorporate technologies from my current system to improve the new shields and combined they increased the shielding by 87% almost double what the enemies shields had been originally and even removing a couple flaws that I found in them. My plasma lances became even deadlier than before now one of my smallest lances had the power of my first main plasma lance system it was getting ridiculous how strong my fleets were becoming one of my corvettes could have fought most of my early battles in galaxy 1.

My gains were enormous and yet I still felt like I was behind somehow so I tinkered the entire trip home trying to get every minuscule amount of power and efficiency out of everything and I even managed a 2% increase in my sublight technologies. Arriving at earth I realized that I didn't know what compelled me to come back but not even 12 hours after I arrived a massive fleet of those triangular warships were jumping in to the system and here I had my strongest fleet my dreadnought had already been upgraded and enhanced and it was on its way the minute they appeared.

Yeah this battle was a lot more one sided than I'd like the enemy had an advantage of 7 to 1 and it was going to be a challenge to win though this time I had planetoid ships rather than my assorted small ship fleets. The battle commenced much as the first did with them just attacking though this time I launched my massive volley of missiles and set my fleet to dodging as much as possible since I didn't have to protect a fleet of refugees. The battle was long and fairly even though I was loosing a ship for six of theirs even with the upgrades I was still not a match for this massive armada though I did have a trickle of ships replenishing my forces as ships I had recalled rushed to the battle.

The fight was going decently if I was still losing but then my omega class warship arrived and suddenly all hell broke loose as they all targeted it and my fleet took a reprieve but kept fighting as my massive warship just seemed to soak up the damage. Shields failing my super ship simply kept fighting until the shields were gone and even then it just rotated to present new weapons to the battle and then it's shields would come back up and soon be blasted down again and yet it stood stoically fighting to the last armor blasted into a cloud of atomic debris it finally succumbed to its wounds and died in the glory of a massive atomic blast as the massive energies of its core vaporized the ship and even damaged some of the ships near it which also happened to only be the enemy ships.
