Ryder smiled as he stepped out of the car as well. This place brought back so many memories. He could see his parents laughing while he played the games on his phone.

Just when Ryder was getting depressed, Alice held his hand as she pulled him with her. She took him to the spot under a tree where they always sat when they were on a picnic with their family.

They sat down and rested their backs against the tree as they looked at the distant horizon.

"I can't believe that it has already been 8 years since they died in the accident," Ryder let out softly.

"Yeah, feels just like yesterday when mom left me at your house in your care while she left with your parents for a party," Alice muttered.
