The Contemplation of a Chan Lee

Her classes finally came to an end, but it was still a long week ahead of her before the weekend once again rolled in. But Chan Lee didn't exactly want to focus on the future or the past, at the moment—things were doing well with her. Despite being just by herself for the most part, it didn't feel lonely.

She felt somewhat at peace with herself.

"Chan Lee!" Alas today truly turned out to be a day that she didn't expect, Ning Bi's voice called out and her back straightened up immediately at the mere sound of her voice. She froze in her seat and wondered what they wanted. "We need to talk." Ning Bi said it without any hint of giving any leeway. 

Her hands clasped the handle of her bag, her chest tightened at their words.
