Ch.32 Regaining light

The stone of light brightened up the room it was held in, there was no longer darkness consuming it. I looked the corner that grandmother Veraza was positioned in she was not there. Mother and I walked out of the stone room and back to the village.

Everyone was to their feet and looking around with a confused look on their faces. I looked to the now clear sky and took a breath of air. I studied the sky a bit more a solute of a man seemed to be falling out of the sky, wait no, Father!

Soon he reached the ground and ran to my mother and hugged her and soon let go and turned me smiling.

"You have gotten so tall." He said wrapping his arms around me into a hug.

"Where did you go?" I asked him.

"I went to the island of the humans to look for you, but I couldn't find you." he said with a light tone.

"I left" I began to feel guilty, "and if I hadn't left none of this would've happened." I said lowering my head. "I am sorry, I have failed you." I said beginning to tear up.

"Why did you leave?" Mother asked suddenly.

I looked at her wiping tears from my eyes.

"Can't you tell, why do you think I have this sword?" I said.

I studied their faces, they weren't buying my story. "Myira." father said in his question tone.

I felt another tear roll down my face.

"A member of the sky tribe fell from the Heavens and she came to me for help." I looked at both of them and took a deep breath.

"So then we left for the island of Shadows and got the sword of the Goddess, and father, I know you seen members of the Sky tribe fighting the dark beast. Darbuse attacked them too." I felt myself grow weak while finishing that sentence.

"Myira you know you weren't supposed to leave their island no matter the circumstances, you know this!" mother yelled at me.

"I just want to bring the land peace." I said as my left eye began to hurt.

"I want to you return there and wait for the next attack, and if not for us for Zack." mother said cautiously.

"What how do you know of Zack." I asked confused.

"There was a kid named Zack standing outside your apartment." father said.

"He refused to leave but did when the beast attacked." he looked at me blankly.

I began to feel my heart beat faster and pain growing quicker in my eye.

"How did you know mom." tears streaming down my face.

"Telepathy." she answered.

That word rang over and over in my head, I beagn to breathe heavily. I fell to my knees gripping my eye.

"Myria?!" mother yelped coming to my side.

Flashbacks of Mieryia, Aveegoh, Darbuse and Zack began flooding me, my heart beating faster and faster. I felt my eye burst and darkness clouded my vision...
