Ch.34 Return 2

As I land on the ground I feel a familiar feeling the unexplainable feeling of just getting here when I was younger. Only this time I am braver. I begin to walk on the sand I begin to tear up I fall to my knees, the feeling of cold sand reminds me of the night we first met.

I wipe the tears from my eyes and stood up. I have to get back to my apartment. After the attack I noticed the streets of the city were the same as always. I kept my head down trying not to make eye contact with anyone. Before I knew it I was at my apartment.

I reached for the doorknob. 'dang it I don't have my keys' I thought to myself. 'Oh thats right!' I moved the door mat and grabbed the key from under it and unlocked the door. As soon as I got in I quickly shut the door and locked. Home, at last.

I walked into the livingroom and looked at the couch someone was sitting on it. Anyira!

"How did you get in here?" I asked her.

She turned her head and looked at me. "The same way you did, the key under the mat." she said smiling.

"It is good to see that you are alright." she spoke quickly.

"Yeah, Anyira." I paused.

"Yes?" she questioned.

"I couldn't do it, so I healed him." I said looking at the floor.

She stayed silent. "I am sorry." I said shaking my head.

"No I am not mad, you did the right thing, I probably couldn't have done it either." She said smiling.

I smiled back. It felt good to back here. I walked into my room and looked at the ripped school uniform in my laundry basket. I had forgotten about school, even though they hate me I still must go back. Today is Sunday, I have been gone for six days.

"I will go back, I have to." I whispered to myself. I let out a faint sigh "Why do I burden myself like this." I said walking over and flopping down on my bed.

I looked at my alarm clock 4:15 PM. I closed my eyes and before I knew it I was asleep...
