Ch.46 Cleaving the Darkness

Darbuse looked at me from the ground, Anger and hatred flooded his eyes. He got back to his feet. "You have awaken, Mieryia." he said in a scraggly voice.

I clenched my fists, "Don't call me that." I said angrily.

He smirked. "End the girls life."

I looked behind me Anyira was pushed to the ground with blood coming out of her mouth.

"Help me.." she managed to get out.

The general raised his sword above her head.

"NO!" I yelled as purple clouded my vision. I snapped, grabbed the sword and ran towards them.

I hit the guard hard flinging him at the wall, and pushed the other guards off from her. She let in a deep breath and coughed. I knelt next to her "Can you get out of here?" I whispered.

"No, I can't move." she said grabbing her side.

A small dagger was peirced through her torso.

"Myria." she said looking in the direction of Darbuse.

I looked at Darbuse, his eyes glowed red anger flowed through him. The sword he wielded began to glow as well. He moved and with a split second was flying towards us. I held up my hand, purple emulated off from it.

Darbuse's sword hit the field that had grown infront of us. I flung him backward and stood up ready to end this fight. I raised my hands into the shape of a triangle and began speaking.

"Spirits of light, souls of the Sky, and Deitys of Shadow. May I use you power to cleave the darkness from the power that binds it." I spoke bravely.

From the triangle in my hands shot gold, dark blue, and purple light, they swirled together and hit Darbuse making red come off his body. After some of the power filled his body it swirled out and went to the other members of Darkness. The red symbol of darkness on the back of his hand flashed a few moments before changing purple light and fading.

I felt the power fade from me. I did it, I cleaved the Darkness. I studied Darbuse for a few seconds, he opened his eyes, they were grey. He breathed heavily and looked around before looking at me.

"You, you saved us." he stuttered out.

I didn't say anything, although he was cleaved, I couldn't trust him for his former actions.

"I am sorry for all of the harm I have caused you."

"You could've killed my mother!" I said as tears came to my eyes.

"I am sorry." he said getting to his feet.

"No! Don't come any closer!" I yelled and moved back toward Anyira. I looked down at

her she was unconscious. "Anyira? Anyira!" I yelled.

I knelt to he side and began to heal her.

"You remind me

of her so much." Darbuse said.

I looked up at him, "What do you mean?" I asked, trying to heal Anyira.

"Mieryia, you remind me of her." he said walking over to us.

How did he know Mieryia?

Once Anyira was fully healed she regained consciousness.

"Myira! Your okay!" she said hugging me.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see Darbuse looking at Anyira. "Andehilia." he said

Anyira let go of me. "How do you know that name?" she said in a serious tone.

"You remind of someone I know from the Kingdom of Shadow Anyira."

"Okay..." she said confused. "Did you get the blessing Myira?" she whispered to me.

"No not yet." I said.

I looked up at Darbuse. "The reason we came was for your blessing. It is the only way we can defeat Aveegoh."

"My blessing? Ofcourse Lady Myira! It is the least I can do for you." He said bowing.

I stood before him letting go of the sword letting it float in the air.

He put his hands together. "Wielders of Darkness, grant your power to the sword of the goddess." he said as a black mist came together and moved into the sword. Anyira stood up next to me.

The sword floated there for a couple seconds before being hallowed by pure light. We heard a shink and the sword had grown longer and now had four gems on it. A black gem on the left, a golden gem on the right, a dark blue gem in the center, and a half purple half light blue gem above them in the center.

"Lets defeat Aveegoh." Darbuse said walking towards the door....
