Ch. 48 Rest easy

A hallowing light shrouded over the land of Izayia. It grew out farther and heavier. A spirit maiden walked gracefully through the land. Her long golden white hair bounced on her shoulders freely. She was wearing an all white dress with the symbol of shadow or rather the mark of Zephrith, half purple half light blue in the center.

"Myira." a voice called loudly. It was the same one from before.

"Reunite us." the voice called louder.

Suddenly a shriek of a thousand voices peirced my ears. I covered my ears but the shriek only got louder and higher.

"Stop!" I yelled weakly, falling to the ground.

The shrieks stopped and all that was left was ringing in my ears. I looked up to see the woman walking towards me. She was not Mieryia, but rather a stronger more powerful spirit. She looked so familiar. The light around her began to glow brighter, she opened her eyes. Pure light came off of them. As the light faded from her body It began to transfer to me.

"Myria." she said looking at me. She had such a gentle voice.

Her eyes gave off a purple hue just like mine. As the light traveled around me I began to float. I crossed my legs into a sitting position. I watched as the pure light turned purple.

"You, are a the true heir to the throne of Shadow. You can choose to save your people or utterly distroy them. The choice is yours." the woman spoke.

My hair began to glow with pure light.

"Close your eyes."

I did.

"I, Izayia, goddess of Shadow grant you access to home."

I opened my eyes and felt something tight grow around my neck.

"When your role as a leader is finished may you join us one last time and return to your former self."

She looked at me teary eyed.

"Those where the last words she said to me. My role has yet to be finished. I pass it to you. Finish what I have started. I am sorry to pass this burden on to you, Myira."

She began to fade.

"Wait! I need answers!"

"Like she told you only time will tell."

I floated back down to the ground she was gone. I now stood alone, nothing but darkness surrounded me.

"Myira! Myria!!" a frantic voice called.
