Meeting the Giganslik

Still wet but drier than when she came out of the river, Imee exited the cave with big strides prepared to face which was the first greatest monster in Gantlet Woodland.

From afar, there were wind slimes that were approaching. Imee just cleared the area but not every slime in Woodland and wind slimes are the fastest among them.

When the wind slimes were getting closer, they slowed down and paused, hovering above as if they were waiting for something. 

Imee was prepared but she didn't know what was happening at that moment. Normally, the slimes would just relentlessly attack as much as possible.

For her, there was only one explanation and that they were waiting for the arrival of the Giganslik, waiting to be eaten.

While being cautious, Imee walked into the forest that was filled with undergrowth from the trees. Not a single plant to be seen, just trees with some of them bearing chylefruits..
