The Age Of Creation

(A/N: This does not have to be read. It is basically a information dump though there may be some useful information inside. Is the first of three parts of Lore I am writing.)

In the beginning there were five beings of immense power. It is not known where they come from and their names have long since been forgotten by the people of today except for maybe the Ancient Gods. What they made and controlled however is all around us. One controlled Life, another Death. One had the power over Order and its opposite Chaos. The final of the five, had power over all energy. These are known today as Mana, Qi or battle energy and finally Soul Force. These five beings were eventually going to be called the First Gods. The Creators.

After their arrival or maybe even birth, they found themselves alone, or so we think in the vast void. The five may have been there for a millenia or even a day. That is another piece of information lost to us. What they did after though, is well recorded and known by all of the races from the three realms.

In what can only be assumed as boredom. They used their powers and created the elements such as Fire, Air, Water and Earth and many more. Each of these elements was made into its own world. With each Element the Creators made a being to control over it. These are the Ancient Gods. The Primordial Elemental Spirits. These are the so-called second generation of Gods. These Gods had absolute control over there Elements. They were made with all of the Creator's power's. They are Immortal, at least until their elements collapse completely. If that was to happen, the Realms would change as we know it.

The Elements and all of their aspects proved to be too much for the Ancient Gods to handle alone. So these Gods, alongside the Creators made Gods like themselves to control each aspect. These new Gods would be weaker compared to the Spirits and would only have absolute power over there Aspect. With this the Ancient Gods were all born into the Realms.

Well at this time the Realms did not exist, it was just the Elemental worlds. The Creators not long after this, began their second project. The creation of the three Realms. They are the Celestial Realm which the Elemental worlds reside in. The Mortal Realm and the Under Realm. To hold the three Realms together the Realm tree Yggdrasill was made to hold them all together as well as separate the three realms, except for a few paths allowing beings to pass through each as long as they meet the criteria to pass.

The Elemental worlds were then made into planes and attached to the Realm tree. Then the Creators made the Celestial plane and the Heavenly plane.

In the Celestial plane, they made the God clans, well at least the original Gods. There were thousands of these clans. These are the Gods. They had no control over an element though. In fact their only advantage was their strength as well as abilities. When they were made they had no inherent knowledge. The creators and the Ancient Gods pitied them and taught them a variety of languages. Each one different and unique from the other. They were also taught about the energies of the world. From here each of these Gods grew in strength as they learned to harness these so-called energies.

The Heavenly Plane was left empty to the Ancient and the new Gods surprise.

In the Under Realm, the creators made Demon kind. In a region known only as the Abyss. Like the Gods they were taught, but ultimately, they were left alone to develop and well become the Demons of today.

Then in the Mortal Realm, which was by far the biggest of the three. They first had the Ancient Gods each send a little bit of their power. This led to the creation of the worlds of today. Each a combination of pure Elemental energy. There were types of world. Minor worlds, the smallest of the three. Major worlds, big words but only the second biggest of the three. Finally there were the Celestial worlds, these are the biggest type and are in no way comparable in size to the other two types.

In these worlds the Creators made the Elder or as some call them Ancestor Races. These are the first mortal races made. They were spread out all over the various worlds. Each left alone by the Creators. It is unknown why this is. Not long after this creation, the Creators fell back to their own planes. At the very top of the Realm tree. It was also around this time that the Ancient Gods caused the Elementals to come into being. They were varied and in a way are very similar to the Elder Races and are considered to be part of them.

The Gods, Ancient and New. Felt bad for the Elder Races and taught them much like the Creators had taught them in part.

The Realms were at peace for the next few thousand years. Not much had happened. Except for some people from the Mortal Realm passing the hurdles and ascending the Celestial Realm. They are the first beings to enter the Heavenly Realm and would become the New Gods. They were not made as Gods, but fought to become them. Untimely they would be known as the Heavenly Gods and the Gods of the Celestial realm would become the Celestial Gods.

Then one event occurred that would change the Realms completely and led them to where we are today. First came the betrayal. The Creators had their own servants. These are the Angles. Not like the Valkyries of the Aesir. Their strength is like that of the Celestial Gods. Some of these Angles betrayed some say or others say stole something from the Creators. These Angles were then banished from the Celestial Realm and descended into the Under Realm and would become the Devils. In the Under Realm they made Hell. It would have seventy two kings and Lucifer as its High King.

A few years later, the Creators released their energies into the Realm tree and thus all of the Realms. Their powers would become the Laws of the Realms. They then disappeared. They are powerless. The five thrones at the top of the Realm tree were left empty.

What happened next was the Great war. The whole of the three Realms went into a state of total war. The most notable exception was the Ancient Gods who remained neutral throughout the whole war. This war was to see who could claim the five thrones. It raged for a full millenia. So many races were wiped out, Celestial Clans exterminated, Heavenly Gods fell. A lot was lost in this time. It is unknown how it ended. What is known though is that the bloodlines of the Elder races became impure or something occurred which caused most of them to disappear into the races of today. An example is the Eldar which became the elves. There being a different type of elf depending on where they lived.

Not long after this occurrence, the war ended. No one or no Race had won. All that was left was carnage. The Celestial Gods had only three clans left. The Elementals were not as badly hit. But races such as the Fire born were gone.

This is how the second age ended.
