It was already past eight in the morning and the radiant sun was peeking through Xia's open window. Xia frowned. Did she forgot to close her glass window? How careless of her to forgot that. Even the curtains were moved aside.

Xia shook her head, cursing her negligence. Next time she will make sure to close her window before falling asleep. She was lucky enough not to attract the attention of thieves last night. Xia shivered upon the thought that someone worst than a thief could have taken advantage of her last night.

Xia stood up vanishing all the negativities inside her head and began with her daily routine by stretching her body parts to entirely wake up her sleepy system. Finally after sweating a bit after five minutes of stretching, Xia started to arrange her bed by folding her thick blanket and stacking it neatly together at the top of her pillows near the headboard.

When Xia was done arranging her bed, she opened her small drawer and took the newly-laundered towel inside. After a stressful nightmare what she needed is the feeling of the refreshing cold water to cleanse away the impurities of her nightmare.

Xia opened the shower and the first drop of cold water made her naked body shiver. After a minute of adjustment against the coolness of the water Xia began to enjoy her bath. She applied the shampoo into the thick mass of her long hair, and just like she usually encounter, her struggle began when the tip of her hair began to entangle. It was such a struggle to have a long hair. Even her bottled shampoo does not last long. Even brushing her hair becomes complicated.

Xia lathered the soap all over her body and immediately rinsed, wrapped her body with the towel and decided to go out of shower.

After applying moisturizer all over her body,

Xia changed to one of her usual outfit; A baggy jogging pants and a loose white t-shirt.

"Good morning Xia." Phoebe greeted Xia brightly upon seeing her emerge from her room. Phoebe wore a smile on her pouty lips as she looked at Xia.

"Good morning Phoebe." Xia replied back. Matching the brightness of Phoebe's smile as she approached herm

Suddenly, the mouth-watering smell of fried rice invaded Xia's nostrils and her eyes widened. She suddenly found her stomach growling and she realized she was starving.

Phoebe was an early-riser and she usually wakes up at six in the morning to prepare for her work which is seven am. This time Phoebe must have woken up later than seven am since today was her day off too.

Seeing that Phoebe was busy cooking for their breakfast, Xia picked her own apron that she kept last time on one of the kitchen cabinets, put it on, and helped Phoebe to prepare their breakfast to make the task faster and lighter.

Xia was very thankful to have Phoebe as a companion inside their condominium apartment. She was a very considerate housemate and a very good cook also. Not to mention that she was neat and tidy kind of person. Phoebe was a Hotel and Restaurant Management graduate and Xia's cooking skills was no match with Phoebe's field of expertise. Xia excels more on eating more than she did on cooking.

Xia was also very thankful to Phoebe because she helps her pay every household expenses they have by fifty percent. The money which Xia's Aunt gave her was still untouched for the reason that she want her to spend her own money for her needs and necessities.

Phoebe was currently working as the Head Manager of Queenx Club, an exclusive club for girls. While she on the other hand work as the secretary of the CEO of Blaze Empire Company. True, they have big time jobs which allows them to live a luxurious life if they chose to but experiencing how hard it is to be poor and struggling, they learned how to be more practical.

"So, how does it feel to be the secretary of the infamous Fallen Angel?" Phoebe began, taking Xia's attention.
