The Inheritance

Chelsea Kimberly pulled up the car inside the empty garage. She killed the engine and took the car keys off the ignition and secured it inside the pouch of her black, leather bag before her slender form climb out of the car.

She walk towards the car's compartment. The sound of her heels clicking against the cemented floor and the noise of her movements was the only sound that she could hear. Aside from those, nothing could be heard except the eerie silence of the deserted garage.

The garage remained empty at this hour of the day—nearly three pm —since her parents was out on a business meeting. The hour in which they will return isn't clear, they did not have the decency to even leave her a message when will they return. Anyway there's nothing strange about their behavior. They'd been apathetic towards her since she's younger. She pushed the door closed.
