• FATHER AND DAUGHTER

Zachary Benedict cleared his throat and looked into the depths of the child's hazel brown eyes. It was like staring back into his own. Hers was unmistakably a replica of his and he couldn't deny that it made his heart swelled with pride.

"Yes, from now on I will be your father because I will marry your moma." His voice cracked as he spoke and emotions almost made his eyes watered with tears.

The joy he hadn't known leapt from his heart as the child wrapped her fragile hands around his neck. The moment was indescribable. He was so high that it made him question the actuality of the situation. It might be a dream. If it happened to be, he wouldn't want to wake up.
