It wasn't the number they had expected. There were almost a hundred of the three eyes dogs were charging at them.
Seeing the number, the whole group was broke into chaos. Even if they were just normal-sized dogs, they were afraid.
Looking at the hundred dogs aggressively charging at them as they growl and bark in the dark, even the most experienced fighter would have felt nervous. Much less these slaves who had absorbed the beast essence just yesterday.
Even if Kaiser and the other two slave-handlers were trying their best to control chaos, it wasn't effective at all. Unlike Aiden, they could not see the outline of the beast in the dark, and they would have to fight while holding the mana stone.
Looking at them, Aiden could only sigh. Even if he had faith in Kaiser's, he wasn't sure how effective his command would be.
'Should I help them a little? 'As the giant pack of dogs was only ten meters away from them, Aiden did not dare to waste any more time.

Amid the chaos, none of them had noticed that Aiden had vanished. Only when the deep stench of blood came into their nose, did they realize what had happened.
Yet, all they could see was a shadow moving around the dark cave as the cries and wails of the dogs filled the cave. Soon the cave was so full of blood that few slaves vomited on the side.
Kaiser, on the other hand, had given up ordering slaves. Soon both of his hands were covered with brown fur, and the palms turned into bear's paws. He had crushed all those dogs that had escaped Aiden's blade into a minced paste.
Not all the slaves were struggling to stand on their legs. Some of them have also been actively fighting. And the most prominent was the one who had four spider legs coming out of his back. With each swing, he was taking care of the dogs.
With Aiden's effort, the pressure was reduced a lot, and soon the pack of dogs were taken care of. As soon as the pressure vanished those who were fighting slumped on the ground.
"What the hell are you doing?" Kaiser burst into anger. He yelled, "You will die. All of you will die. If you don't listen to me, I will kill all of you myself. Do you think Aiden will save you every time?"
Some slaves weren't able to recover even after the fight was over. And those who could don't even dare to look at Kaiser. All they could do was stare at the ground.
When most of them were forced into slavery, they weren't even able to fight. Yesterday, when they absorbed the essence of the beast and felt the energy flowing through their veins, they thought things would be different now.
It was easy when there was only one dog, but as soon as the hundred of them came, their weakness and inexperience burst out at the same time. Even the fear of death by disobedience was not enough to overcome the fear of the beast wave.
"What are you waiting for? Just gather the crystal from their body." With another yell from Kaiser, all the slaves ran towards the dead bodies.
"Where is Aiden?" Now that he looked around, Kaiser couldn't find Aiden.
"He went into the cave. He hasn't come back yet." One of the slave-handlers asked. Soon the other chimed in.
"Boss, who is he?" he was visibly curious, "I thought he was one of the young masters of the city."
"Yes, me too." The other one nodded, "I thought the same too. But as soon as he jumped into the horde of the beast, it was an utter slaughter. He was too strong."
"You don't have to worry about him." There was no way Kaiser could answer that Aiden was from a different planet. He chose not to answer, "Don't waste your time here. Check the slaves."
"Come on, boss. Tell us." One slave trader urged. Even if Kaiser was big, and he always looked angry, he was kind inside.
Just like a moment ago, instead of urging the slaves to fight, if he had just ordered them using tattoo blood, the result would have been a bloody one. Yet he chose not to do that.
Looking at the persistent slave-traders, Kaiser frowned and said, "He is the strongest person here."
"No way." Both the slave-handlers exclaimed at the same time. Other than that Lord Arcid and the mercenary leader there might not be many people in the valley city who can hold their ground against Kaiser. Yet he said that that child could beat him?
There was no way they could believe him, however, Kaiser was no intention to explain to them.
"There is a cavern about 120 meters from here. It is filled with mana crystals. There aren't any beasts there."
"Wooo." Both the slave-handlers jumped in fear as Aiden appeared before them out of thin air. Staring at him with fearful eyes, they dared not to stay here, and ran to check the slaves.
"Thank you." Before anything, Kaiser gave a deep bow to them.
"What are you doing?" Aiden said with a smile, "Did you think I was going to run away? It's very natural to fight with them. They weren't that powerful. If they were so powerful, I would have been the first to run away."
Kaiser just smiled at him and moved towards the slaves. After taking care of the bodies of the beast, they moved again.
Whether it was due to fear or seeing so much blood for the first time, the atmosphere was heavy. But they were a lot more alert now. But Aiden was not affected by the atmosphere.
He moved beside Kaiser and whispered, "You have something that could show the way, don't you?"
Kaiser looked at him with big eyes. After recovering from the initial shock he asked, "How do you know?"
"Even if it was your first time here, you didn't stop in the path once. Even if it was me, I would have plucked the crystal out of the wall." Aiden added with a smile, "Yet you didn't stop for once. As if you knew there is something valuable inside."
"Did you have so much wisdom from the birth or they trained you to?" Kaiser's question caught Aiden off-guard for a moment before both of them broke into a smile.
"This is the marker." Kaiser gave the thing to Aiden.
"Isn't it the city light?" Aiden had seen the thing before. A compass-like instrument with a strand of blue silk inside. But when Aiden opened it, he found there was a strand of red silk.
No matter which direction Aiden turned to, it was always pointing towards the direction of the cavern. After looking at it for a moment, he returned it to Kaiser.
"It is a similar product." Kaiser put it back before continuing, "You might not know how the city light works. Rather than finding the city, it pointed towards the direction with the maximum amount of mana. And as mana crystal mine located under the tree stump, it pointed towards the city."
It stunned Aiden. He had expected that it was a magical device that could find the city because of some kind of magic. Yet it turned out to be a detector.
"What? Are you upset that it was not magic?" After looking at his face, Kaiser could understand his thoughts. He couldn't help but smile as he spoke, "It can just detect the mana. And this one is the same too."
Kaiser pointed at the one inside his robe and said, "The only difference is that this can ignore all the weak mana sources and point at the strongest one. So it can lead you to the best mana crystal."
"Wow?" Even if Aiden called it a detector in a broad term, it was a sophisticated one. The mana concentration is 60% above the normal, yet it can ignore all of that and point at the strongest source. He couldn't help but ask, "who made these things?"
But Kaiser shook his head. "We don't know. But we brought it from the far north. Their magic is different but is far stronger than ours." Kaiser stopped for a moment, "All these instruments, the slave branding iron, even the truth stone were sold by them."
"North? Are you talking about the continent of North Acirema?"
"Kuuk." But before Kaiser could answer the slave handler who was walking in the front stopped after making a funny sound. He looked at Kaiser in fearful eyes, not daring to enter the cavern.
So Kaiser had to take the first step. And the first thing he noticed was the bright big white crystal which was hanging from the roof.
Even if the cavern was a lot smaller than the first one, still it was big enough to hold 100 of people. And the whole place was filled with the large chunks of transparent mana crystals with grey clouds inside.
But more than what attracted him was the deep stench of blood and tens of dead bodies of three-eyed dogs on the ground.
'When did he kill so many of them?' Kaiser looked at Aiden in shock who confirmed his theory with a smile as he entered the cavern.
