At the same moment, so many loud sounds shook the entire world that Robin could not count the number of them. On top of that, it was so loud that it forced him to cut off the helmet's audio feed.
Yet the sound wasn't the most surprising aspect of it. Even though his eyesight was well above average, he realized he could never pursue someone who was moving at supersonic speed with his eyes.
All he saw was the furry body of the beast twitching in the middle of the air as if it was beating from all directions. After the festival of explosive booms, as the world returned to its original calm, the weak body of the beast collapsed on the ground.
"I have never seen a man moving faster than the sound." Robin couldn't stop himself from saying the words, even though there was no response from the other side.
With a ticking timer at the edge of his view, Aiden didn't dare to relax until he confirmed that the Chenoo was dead.
*Gahhhhhh*
Yet, to his surprise, the body moved again. With the pair of big hands, it supported the heavy body to stand up. The iris-less white eyes glared at Aiden for a moment before it leaped at Aiden. After that much beating, Aiden hoped it would slow down a little, rather it got faster.

Aiden aimed a kick at its neck, and he connected without a hitch. But as a result, a sledgehammer-like fist pounded on his shoulder. The kick sent the beast on its knee while the punch sent Aiden rolling across the snow. And the first one to be recovered was…
The Chenoo came running at him even before Aiden could shift the dislocated shoulder back into its place. It raised its fists and brought down on Aiden, but missed as Aiden rolled across the ground and disappeared.
However, the Chenoo continued to chase behind him. Looking at the persistent enemy, Aiden sighed, 'What the hell? Did I murder his entire family? Why can't it die lying down? Hey, didn't you say it was going to die soon?'
"That is exactly what a Chenoo would do. They're not going to stop until they are dead. At the top of that, it is under the effect of some kind of contract."
Aiden felt that he was fortunate to have killed the other one before it could attack. Otherwise, he would have been dead by now.
"I can see that its life force is reducing, but the problem with Chenoo is the closer they are to their death, the more ferocious they will become. Lucky for you it is just a child if it was…"
'Fuck you.' Aiden cursed as he leaped to escape the fist. Still, it scratched his side, 'I don't want to know what will happen if it is an adult. Just remind me to run away, if you ever sense these in the vicinity.'
*Bang* Bang*
"Looks like you need some help." Robin's voice came through the helmet as the loud bang stopped the rampaging Chenoo on its track.
"Idiot, don't shoot if you can't hit the eyes. If that thing…" Aiden didn't complete his sentence as Aiden noticed that Chenoo had turned his head to look toward Robin.
It turned its head, totally disregarded the existence of Aiden, and charged through the ruined campground at Robin. Aiden wasn't sure whether it remembered that something similar had killed its master, or its instinct took over his mind.

[The host has activated innate skill [Blink]]
*Boom*
By the time Robin could hear "fuck' through his helmet, Aiden had already shattered the sound barrier. He couldn't track Aiden's fast movement, but for Aiden, the world couldn't be slower.
He gritted his teeth and flew past the Chenoo. Aiden poured a good chunk of his essence mana on his finger and poked right into the white eyes.
At this speed, the Chenoo had no defense against the Aiden attack. The assault reached the target with little resistance, but for Aiden, it wasn't a pleasant feeling.
However, he knew it wasn't time for that. He poured his mana into its body like no tomorrow. Alas! The effect of [Blink] wore off.
A giant hand grabbed his leg and slammed him down to the ground. At the same time, the sense of pain penetrated his brain from all over his body, causing him to cough up some blood.
When he looked up at the face of the impending terror, he found that it was missing an eye, only to realize the big eyeball was still impaled by his finger. Yet, it didn't stop it from rampaging. It raised both fists, intending to bring down on Aiden's head.
Aiden, on the other hand, had no strength left in his limbs. The timer on the side of his view was still showing [6.7813], but it was useless. His body was nowhere near powerful enough to maintain the limit exceeding effect.
And with dislocated shoulders, fractured ribs, and shattered bones, Aiden wasn't sure that he could go on much longer. The timer faded from the side of his vision as the pair of fists came down to create the desired effect.
*Boom*
"Are you sure? Shouldn't I shoot at that thing?" Robin's voice echoed through his helmet, but Aiden didn't answer.
The leg that Chenoo had caught, swelled, and lost its effectiveness. Aiden dragged his leg as he moved to hide behind one of the ruins.
*Gahhhhhhhhh*
Aiden wasn't sure whether the Chenoo could differentiate between a dead body or an ice clone, but he had to take the chance. Whatever the case, Aiden was sure that it hadn't calmed down yet.
'What? Why wasn't it effective? Isn't it supposed to be frozen solid as I poured mana through its eyes?'
"I don't think that is the case. Didn't I tell you the closer to its death, the stronger the Chenoo will become? As the contact spell is pushing it towards its death, it…"
"It's coming at you. Should I shoot?" Robin screamed out through the helmet. "Can you even move?"
Even without Robin's precautions, Aiden could see the eyeless Chenoo staring at him as it walked toward him. 'Its movement has definitely slowed down. It's weaker now.' Aiden mumbled under his breath.
"You are the weakest. Can you even move?" Mraz said from the inside, as Robin cried out through the helmet, "Hey, say the words. Otherwise, I can't shoot."
'My essence mana couldn't do anything, what could an enchanted ice bullet do?' Aiden did not react, staring at the Chenoo as it closed in.
"Hey, that is your actual body, right? Can you even move? Let me shoot. I think I can shoot it."
Again, Aiden ignored him. Looking at the Chenoo that was dragging its body towards him, Aiden was certain, under the influence of his essence mana, its body had begun to shut down. As it moved, Aiden mumbled, "a few more steps." and *Bang*
"HEY! You can shoot, you can shoot." Aiden screamed through the helmet.
Robin's unexpected disobedience shocked him so much that he had forgotten to trigger the mana circle he had laid on the ground.
He failed to even realize that the Chenoo, looking at Robin's direction, was standing at the center of the mana spell.
There was only one thought in his mind, is Robin dead? He had ordered him not to shoot, yet he did it. There is no way he would survive with no heart.
'Why the fuck that idiot do it? Did he want to die?' Aiden cursed in his heart.
*Gaahhhhh*
The Chenoo screamed in rage as the voice appeared in his helmet, "Do you know how nerve-wracking it was to know that you will die if you miss the target? Good thing, I hit the eye."
Aiden saw the angry rampage of the beast as the blue blood trickled down on its face. Aiden said nothing and triggered the circle. As soon as he activated it, the ice from all sides moved and trapped the Chenoo within a dome.
*Boom* *Boom*
The Chenoo continued to assault the wall as the crack emerged. Mraz's voice sounded sarcastic, "Do you really think you can stop it with an ice dome made of ice mana?"
'If it was in full strength, then no. But now it is weaker. As long as it doesn't break in one attack I can fix it in a flash,' Aiden responded.
"Even though it is on the verge of death, it isn't a matter of one or two minutes."
'I don't need to wait much longer.' Aiden grinned, adding, 'Even though it's a monster, it's going to need oxygen to survive. And as you have said, it can't use mana. So it won't be able to use mana to survive.'
Aiden could see the berserk shadow assaulting at the thick ice wall, 'At its current state, I think it might actually be a matter of two or three minutes.'
Aiden, however, significantly underestimated the power of Chenoo. Even without oxygen, it managed to struggle for seven minutes straight, before things inside turned quiet.
Aiden did not dare to deactivate the mana circle and started his innate spell, [Essence Absorbance Circle].
It was only after he had absorbed all its essence that he released the ice dome to find the body of Chenoo with no eyes. Yet there wasn't a single scratch on its fur.
"Check the perimeter."
"There is nothing." Robin had already done the work, "By the way, the pair of wolves had already gone towards you."
Aiden didn't even have the energy to nod. He said, "If you had some mana healing injection, give it to me."
"Wouldn't the healing pod be better?"
"Don't need it for now. If you can drag the body of the elf and the other Chenoo close to me."
"Chenoo?"
"That white furry monster. By the way, can you peel the leather of an animal?"
"Huh? Why? Would you like to use their fur?"
"If you can peel the fur of the one close to me. I might need to rest a little."
"You are going to sleep on the ice?" Robin paused for a bit, adding, "Oh! Sorry, you will be perfectly ok."
Aiden didn't answer, but said, "There might be humans and wolves locked in the underground labs. Don't release any of them until I wake up."
Robin wanted to ask a question, but recalling the ordeal Aiden had gone through, he decided not to say anything for the time being and went to the transporter.
The whole fighting took no more than thirty minutes, yet Robin felt that a long time had passed.
What was more incredible was the research post, that a company of soldiers couldn't defend against half the number of monsters, was taken down by a single boy.
Yet it didn't surprise him anymore. He felt that Aiden had absolutely damaged the shock sensor inside his brain. With his lip curved ever so slightly, he drove the transporter to the devastated post.
