Spycraft Part II

Leo was not a cruel man. Those who knew him would probably even call him a good man. Not a Mary Sue, mind you, as he could yell at an incompetent coder just like the worst of CEOs. But he could just as easily double everyone's Christmas bonus for a job well done without batting an eyelash. He loved animals, hated gory films, and never ever raised his hand to women.

Although some of his memories were missing — much like a giant puzzle missing some of its pieces — this part of Leo, the good guy, remained even in the Abyss. It's why he was always rooting for his dev team to succeed and never said no, even to their most insane ideas. He'd rather steer down a more achievable path than bring their enthusiasm down.

So, it was with some difficulty that he just stood there and let events unfold without interfering or stopping the torture of the player known as Pilgrim.
