Reappearing at the entrance, I strode in onto the carpet, ignoring the random noble's class ascension. The pastor was froze, feeling the pressure in the air, his muscle refused to move. Recognising me, the noble and his family cleared the way and left it for later. It wasn't as if the class ascension would vanish, they could just postpone to a later date. But, who am I to talk? The anxiety gripped my hard as I moved at a slightly faster pace.
A similar pressure to the one radiating off of me consumed the church. Engulfing the area in a large dome of darkness, a pillar of energy struck down from the sky. The pillar was akin to the sun sending light through a hole in the clouds. Familiar with it, the pastor could only get into even more shock.
".... SS-class. Only Kings and demon lords have reached this far... What a miracle, to witness this in my short life... " (Pastor)
As everything dissipated and the surroundings went back to normal, a new burst of power awakened inside. Unlike last time, the system didn't give an option to refuse the evolution. At this point, I don't think the 'commandment' series items were remotely useful. I should give them to my subordinates. Taking them off, I took a look at my new status.

I overheard something from the pastor about... SS class? So that was how the rulers of this world kept their hiearchy. Without power, a rogue person similar to me could make society collapse. Well, I have no intention of doing that anyway. If anything it would be an accident. Most of my skills had been compounded into one more compact skill, there were some new things as well, but [shadow step] didn't change one bit.
Using [Shadow step], I vanished from the church. Walking into my base, I had kurisu take the gloves that gave the wielder powers of the 'commandment'. Who she gave those to was up to her.
"Anything new happen?"
"Well you were probably part of that battle, but there was an earthquake like tremor coming from the town square where they tried to hold an event to commemorate a new ruler of this kingdom." (Kurisu)
"Hmm... Anything else?"
" A while after you left, there was a large mana signature that appeared and vanished" (Kurisu)
"Tch, so that guy's still alive. Right when I thought I've gotten rid of an annoying one."
"There is nothing left to report on." (Kurisu)
"Good work, have a good rest."
"Will do." (Kurisu)
It was virtually impossible to level through the dungeon now. I think I could attempt the final boss now, but I still had 2 more annoying cockroaches in this kingdom to remove. My days continued to be normal, or whatever you could call 'normal' for a year and half before graduation. In the 3rd tournament, it wasn't even a fight.
In the final battle that consisted of 5 individuals fighting each other, 2 were eliminated in less than a second, followed by James' that relied on his buff for a minute before his mana was drained. After being drained of his only method to survive, he was quickly disintegrated without a second glance. Using [Fate lock], Fez could not avoid any attacks. In that 1 year, I got used to forming pistols with my [Abyss control] and shooting bullets instead of spears.
Aiming directly at her chest, I pushed the trigger. Fez was eliminated immediately before the explosion could erupt and destroy the barrier. Of course, I would try my best to comfort her while she sulked over the tournament. Every other day was uneventful, other than the occasional times when I hung out with Fez.
My level didn't go up a bit in the meantime as I stopped grinding at the dungeon. I knew how futile it was, since killing monsters with levels higher than mine was slowly becoming less efficient. In conclusion, it would take forever for my level to go up, it was much better to wait for an opponent to show up, but they never did. Ever since the day of that attack, Fez had been extremely busy. Since a kid couldn't become the king, she was just given an extremely high position in the governing body to watch over the kingdom. That was why hanging out with Fez became more and more rare opportunities, that made me cherished our time.
Our graduation came and go as if nothing happened. We still had 3 more years in secondary education after all. I had finally reached double digits in terms of age, which was extremely weird considering I had 1000 levels and was casually causing explosions. I guess new school days were going to come.
Since everyone attended this school other than the nobles, there were much more students than before. The nobles had their common sense checked before attending lessons as they don't want trouble to be caused for the staff. Entering the class brought me a lot of attention. Other than the usual rivals Fez and James, everyone else was a stranger.
There were a varying mix of reactions. Some scared, some excited, some different and some shocked. Ignoring all their gazes, I walked over the front of the classroom before picking my usual seat. The front most window seat. Just like back at the magic institution, in this general academy I could stare out the window and look at the trees when I'm bored. There was a possibility that the general academy's syllabus would be more demanding, but there was an equal chance it was nothing, so I continued to stare out of the window as everyone waited for the teacher to come.
