"Uhhh... This was because I practiced [Stealth] and [Illusion] in my free time. See?"
As if desperate for excuses, I activated my skills in a hurry. Vanishing from the area, [Illusion] didn't quite process my request well and caused a cloud of black mist to spread around.
With me at the centre, the black clouds scatter lower, right above the ground, before thinning out and vanishing. If exaggerated, it was a smoke covering of sorts that meshed well with my [Stealth] erasing my presence from people's sight.
Dispelling my skill, a high pitch screech resounded in the background. In an instant, all attention was on the origin of that high pitch screech-like scream...
Laying in a puddle of dark crimson, viscous bodily fluid cover the green of the grass filled flooring. Mixed in with moisture giving birth to a solution of blood, water and sweat that shined transparent at the edges and deep red in the centre. Cold sweat dripped down everyone's temples as they seize whatever activities they were participating in. Getting used to [mana control] took a large amount of willpower, in my case it was basically a miracle to get it right. This large requirement evidently created quite a bit of stress, that some students became drenched in sweat.
Ventilation was provided artificially by nearby magical devices embed in walls, the faint humming of the unnaturally made air pressure clearly waft to everyone's ear drums. Staring blankly at the corpse, the person who screamed, 'Evali Anumo' had her knees lose their strength. Collapsing on the ground, the smell of blood densely and potently filled her nostrils. The urge to release her stomach fluid clogged her throat, threatening to spill out and disgrace the corpse. Turning her head to the other side, a mix of brown and mainly green covered the fresh grass.
The corpse itself, probably wouldn't mind what happened. No. Now that it was dead, it can't mind at all. Ren Frivuli, an average citizen, child of this kingdom 'Ilnoa', residing in this capital 'Harox' with a silent x. His face was buried in the ground very shallowly, of course it was merely from falling into the ground. His cause of death didn't seem like it was due to being shoved into the ground. His wound persisting to leak blood was located on his front. With the way the blood was flowing, it was probably his stomach. His brownish-blonde hair was stained with his blood that had gathered to a large puddle in the blink of an eye.
"WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING. Stop staring at it and get away!" (Kuraver) His booming voice and spittle pulling every student back into reality from the surreal sighting. Some forgot to breath and was now gagging for air a little, some would follow Evali's footsteps and release their stomach fluid, others would look away. Only the few individuals I noted didn't react in a vigorous tone.
Ah, I see. I see what was missing those few years ago now. When that adventuring party accompanied me and Cress, and 3 of them died trying to find me. Even if I had lost my memories, anyone would react more irrationally. After all, it was the loss of life. Unrecoverable, undesirable, grave, a disaster. Even a baby would be able to tell it was bad. The only way I could react indifferently was that I was severely missing something.
Contradictory to the previous statements, it was my memories. No, nevermind, it was the opposite and not at the same time. Missing my memories, but not missing my reflexes. I was strangely used to... Death. 'Used to', what the hell happened in the first 6 years of my life?
In a hurry, Kuraver managed to flip over the corpse, to find the wound and collect clues as to how Ren died. Ren was just a mere scout class, an ordinary kid that happened to past the test. Why would he have any enemies?
Imagination runs wild, though a common consensus was reached and chaos prevented. Staring meaningfully, everyone peered into the only assassin in the class. Me. Using my newly attained [mana control-tier 3] ,I combined it with [demonic energy] to give a more precise magic radar. Evolving to tier 4 on the spot, as if I became accustomed to an innate talent, [mana control-tier 4] is able to identify mana sources. If a trace of it was left on the dead body, I would know where it came from.
With the ability to kill someone in an instant, the others naturally feared me. Impressive as they are for gathering quite a few A tier classes, they were still 10 year old.
"You... I can detect your mana from here..." (Kuraver)
If someone else had [mana control-tier 4], they could arrive at the same conclusion. Trying it out to find the culprit only exposed myself to the wrong individual.
"... I can't believe it... But now it all makes sense. Stop hiding your status beneath [Illusion]. [Despel illusion] " (Kuraver)

[Absolute territory] rip off the assailant's disguise! " (Kuraver)
On command, a large pressure assaulted my conscious, as if holding me into place in order to prevent my escape. [Absolute territory] was the signature move of the domain conqueror S-class. It held an extremely large amount of versatility. In return it only buffs the growth of the intelligence stat.
Unlike other class' class stat bonuses, it was very unsuited to combat. The only example of a successful combatant that had the domain conqueror class was the dead Vadim noble lineage. Around 10 years ago, an unknown intruder had killed the last head of the family and claimed it as their own, before disappearing.
As the words of sensei echoed around, it felt as if a part of myself was being pulled apart.
"ARGHHHHHHHHHH"
The pain flooded my conscious before it lifelessly went off like a battery died. Bodies dropped on the ground with a thud, with a single person left standing.
***(Kuraver)
A bright glow consumed the room, blinding everyone's sight and even their thoughts were forcibly interrupted by the magical radiance. With their thoughts and oxygen cut off, there was no resistance as everyone fell on the ground. The light continued to flow throughout the room, at least that was what it looked like to everyone except for one.
"AHHHHHH STAY AWAY STAY AWAY, KUH [ABSOLUTE TERRITORY] CREATE A SPACIAL BARRIER" (Kuraver)
For this one individual, it was not light but darkness. A dark cloud that consumed the room and everything in it slowly inched closer to his face. That fear was not normal for a battle hardened veteran like Kuraver, it was simply an innate fear, born from his will for self preservation, and amplified by the magic of the mysterious cloud that arose from the collapsed Lilith. What is this cloud? Was his fear natural? Simply the fear of the unknown? No, it was like a divine providence was pressing down on his neck, the spiritual blade inching closer into his heart was but just his delusion born from his fear. His will scrambled and his instincts were twisted.
