Gabriel puts the brush down and turns towards her. "You are the one that needs sleep more than I do. I am honestly surprised that you are still awake." Gabriel stood up and peeled off the paint covered yukata that was on backwards and laid it on the ground.

Walking up to him, she held out her arms and wrapped them around his back. "I couldn't sleep. It's strange to say that I am now used to cuddling with you and that when I try to sleep on my own it doesn't feel the same." She rests her head on his shoulder.

"I know what you mean. I had gotten ready for sleep, I was in bed, but as I laid there for what felt like an eternity, I realized that I couldn't sleep. So I got up and started painting. If I can't sleep I might as well be productive." He holds her but doesn't touch her back with his hands. "I will be back. I need to get the paint off my hands before I can hug you properly." He kisses the top of her head and steps away from Amelia.
