Reflexes

Blake found himself staring at the boarded floor as he recalled the incident. The next two days had passed by in a blink. He was more focused on looking for the perfect plot for his club.

Lillian's word had reminded him that he didn't really need someone to invest. Money was never a problem for him, and there was no need for him to do things the traditional way.

He would be the one to build the club from the ground up on his own. People would have to get used to the idea that it belonged to him and him alone. Nothing else could be done about it.

It was only after that he had made some calls to a bunch of people who owed him a favor or two, that he found the time to focus on Lillian's training.

Only after a couple of days into training, and she was already showing progress. The rapid growth in her techniques had him wondering about her real identity. How could a young girl adapt things so quickly? It was beyond his understanding.
