This story is actually a spin-off of “My Little Sunshine”, and the main leads here are actually supporting characters in it. But since the story is retrospective regarding Blake and Lillian, it's fine if you haven’t read it.

"Come here. Let me have the wonderful opportunity of introducing my girlfriend to my family." He waved at her to come closer as his lips slowly curled up in a bright smile.

His words only seemed to work as a shock to her. Lillian stood there with her eyes opened wide, staring back at him, while her knotted fingers tightened around each other.

She couldn't help but question her own self while the culprit looked like he was enjoying her confusion.

There was a bright smile clinging to Blake's lips, the corner of his thin lips curled up. It looked like they were stuck to their spots as his eyes held her puzzled gaze.

She was too lost in her own thoughts to figure out when he had covered the distance between them, and was standing before her.

"Lillian?" He called out her name as he flicked his wrist before her eyes, bringing her lost mind back to present.
