The Truth
Elo felt exhausted. He and Ella had been walking around for about three hours strait, but they still hadn´t found anything interesting.
"I´m sorry, but I really need a pause. Is it ok if we stop here and rest for a while?"
Elo was sure that he couldn't even go one step further. For is old body, walking for hours and hours wouldn´t have been a problem, but this new body was not trained at all.
Besides, unlike Ella, he hadn´t invested any of his stat points into his speed stat. Because of that, he had a really hard time keeping up with her.
"Yes of course. But you don´t have to ask me, I mean you are the boss, right?"
She sounded like she would be able to walk for another three hours without even breaking a sweat.
-"I would really like to see her build. Her skill was most likely a strength skill, but she is also very fast. Does she have some kind of glass cannon build? That would be pretty risky in a world where you only have one life."-
"Ok, then let´s take a beak here. By the way, can I see your character screen?"
"Yes, you could, but then you´d have to show me yours too, alright?"
"Ok."
Elo had agreed without even thinking and when he realized what he had said, it was already too late.
-"God dammed, I can´t show her my character screen, otherwise she will be able to see that I am already at level 1."-
"No wait, I…"-
"Here you go."
A screen appeared in front of Ella. When she turned around, Elo could see her entire character screen.

Elo wasn´t looking her in the eyes.
"No excuses! I only showed you my character screen because you said you would show me yours to. Or… are you trying to hide something?"
-"Dammed, I thought I could somehow talk my way out of this because of my high charisma stat, but she didn´t even let me speak. Well I guess there is no way out anymore."-
He opened his character screen.

"What? You are already level 1? How is that possible? Did you steal all the soul gems of our other teammates? And what are those Power Stones?"
Elo felt a bit overwhelmed, he had expected some questions, but not quite as many.
"Yes, I am level 1, but no, I didn´t steal soul gems. It´s just that I already get all the monster drops and I didn´t give all the soul gems away."
"So you didn´t give them any?"
Ella was looking at him in an amused way.
"No, I gave one to Gorden."
Ella suddenly started laughing.
"One out of how many? You must at least have used 10 to level up, I don´t think that's all that fair."
Elo started sweating profusely, he didn´t want to lose his entire team because of his stupidity.
"No, I get items called Power Stones every now and then. I can use them to level up to."
"Really? And who is giving them to you?"
"I don´t know, it always says "gifted by …" and then some random names. I actually believe they might be some sort of gods."
Ella was looking at him skeptically, so when he suddenly felt something hard in his pocket, he was really relieved.
"I actually just got some, you can take a look if you want."
He took out a small pile of red crystals.
"Ding"
"You received:
-5 Power Stones, gifted by xyy607Sep and others"
Ella was looking at him with big eyes.
"Wow, you were actually telling the truth! And you really don´t know who that is?"
"Just like I said, I have no idea."
Suddenly Ella´s expression changed. She now had a big grin on her face.
"So, what do you think would happen if Gorden and Lara would know about this?"
Elo started sweating again.
"You know what? I´ll give you enough Power stones to get to level 1 and you won´t tell anybody. Deal?"
He showed her 9 Power Stones.
"I actually wasn´t going to tell them anyways, but thank you for your offer."
As she took the stones from his hand, she smiled innocently, but Elo could see a sparkle in her eyes.
Then, she took two steps back, and the Power Stones in her hands disappeared.
She just stood there for about one minute, while several screens appeared and disappeared in front of her.
When she selected to get one more point in strength, she suddenly felt tired. The last thing she saw before closing her eyes was Elo rushing to her side to try to catch her before she could fall to the ground.
She didn´t know if he had succeeded when her consciousness faded away.
