Chapter 11

Of course, Zhang Wei all but cared about the situation. His concern was partly on his sister which he had confirmed to be alright by the looks of her playing nearby.

Another was why he couldn't stop thinking of that girl. Her eyes especially. It was a brown colour but if one looked closely, you could see the faint outlines of a flower in there, plus the honesty it carried was something he hadn't seen from someone who knows what he does in a long time.

Meanwhile, on the Ye family's side, Ye Yiyi's mom has diffused the tension somewhat.

She is now talking to Madam Zhang and by the looks of things, she doesn't seem bothered about the situation.

Ye Yiyi glances at Zhang Wei and couldn't help but think of how handsome he looks. She was wondering what was making him unfocused but didn't put too much thought on it since, like this, she could freely ogle him.

Meanwhile, Li Na and Xiu Ying have gotten Xiu Ying's cars and are now planning to go home. Li Na then remembers that she has to meet up with that rascal Yifeng this evening.

"Xiu Ying, you can go on without me. I just remembered that I need to go back to school to get some things."

Xiu Ying looked confusingly at her. "We could always go together. We can just leave the car somewhere and then come get it when you're done."

She even went towards Li Na's car and was going to get in.

Li Na quickly shook her head. "Ying'er it's fine. It's just some documents. I will be home before you know it. Besides, I need food and you know I can't cook to save my life. I would be hungry by the time I get back."

Xiu Ying still didn't look convinced. She just wanted to make sure all was well. "Are you sure? I could always just come with you."

Li Na, just wanting to get away right now became angry. "Xiu Ying, I am not a child anymore. I can do it myself you know."

Without waiting for Xiu Ying's answer, she speeds away and left a worried Xiu Ying. 'I hope she's okay. She has been weird these days.' She sighs once more and enters her car.

Zhang Wei, on the other hand, had left the Zhang mansion. He really needs a drink after today. His phone rang as he was driving.

He answered and an annoying male voice answers" Wei Wei lets go to the club, yeah?"

The man stays silent for a bit before responding ok in a tiredly annoyed voice " How many times have I told you not to call me that Jinkai?"

Mo Jinkai just laughs and asks again " So are you coming? there are so many pretty girls tonight."

"You're already there aren't you?" he sighs tiredly once more. Junkai responds in a whiny voice "You never do anything with me anymore. Wei Wei, you gotta have some fun once in a while. Just come."

"WEI WEI!! are you there?"

He frowns at the speakers. Well, he needed a drink anyways. "Give me a few minutes. I'll be there."

He hung up before he could say anything and continued to drive.

Xiu Ying, on the other hand, was still feeling down about what happened with Li Na. It was rare when they argued and she never intended to sound naggy.

She sighed and drive home in her car. 'It is very comfortable.' She hummed on her way home and thinking about what she would cook.

Li Na finally got to her destination. She stopped in front of a building where loud music was pouring out of it. She frowned. "How does he expect me to talk to him with all this shit going on?" she muttered to herself.

She sighed and finally got down from the car into the loud building. The sign she saw read 'Angel's Wings' greeted her and she wondered once again what they would talk about in the club. Yes, it was one of the best but what the hell is he doing?

She entered the building full of sweaty bodies with a frown, her face nearly disgusted. She would never say no to clubbing but the mood today was just shitty.

Not long after she entered, a black car pulled up to the same building and a handsome man came out. People surrounding couldn't help but give second and third glances. 'Is that Mr. Zhang?' 'Omg yes, it's him. Aah, he looks so much better in real life.'

Zhang Wei ignored them and made his way into the club. He went straight to the VIP lounge and no one dared to stop him, or no one couldn't because this club was owned by his friend, Mr. Mo Jinkai.

He entered the room and saw Jinkai on the seat looking down.

He also saw his other acquaintances: Lan Zhi of Lan breweries, an international corporation fostering more than 40% of the beverages in Paradise city.

Du Gang of Du's real estate, where basically all their properties are full; also being able to own chains of hotels nationally and abroad.

Finally, Pan Zhou of Pan corp, one of the best Law firms in the city and beyond. Their family a strong line of lawyers all who have not lost up to five cases.

And of course, Mo Jinkai whom we all know.

Lan Zhi looked up and saw Zhang Wei. "Well well look who decided to join us. Young Master Zhang. Sit sit." he uttered. All eyes snapped to him and Jinkai smiled. "Wei Wei you made it.

Back to Li Na. She eventually saw Yifeng and the fool seems to be surrounded by hookers. She inwardly sneered and went to him. " You seem busy."

Yifeng looked up and sighed. 'She's here early does she like him that much?' he scoffed internally. 'Well, whatever.' He sighed and said to the girls. "Sorry ladies. Please excuse us." to which the girls pouted and looked at Li Na as if she stole their favourite bone. Li Na only rolled her eyes and waited for them to leave.

She then sat down the farthest away from him. She didn't want to smell the varieties of perfume on him. "So what am I here for? How are we meant to discuss serious matters in a club?"

Yifeng laughed half in amusement and mockery. 'You call stalking a man that doesn't know you important matters?' "You see, the very man you like is in this club." He saw the immediate change on her face from angry to love-struck and couldn't help but sneer. It was gone as quickly as it came and Li Na didn't notice a thing.

"Well why aren't you there with him?" and Yifeng sighed as if wrong. "He's not the only one there. There are others and I cannot just go meet him without anything related to business. Our families are only connected (slightly) in business and not personally." He explained hoping for her to understand.

Unfortunately, she only saw the fact that they were not as close as she expected. "So all this noise for nothing?" She prepared to leave and was thinking of how she would get close to him only to be stopped by his voice. "I'm the only lead you have to him. Getting close to him is not easy at all. So it's your loss either way and don't forget you still haven't done your part of the deal."
