Xiu Ying wished for a hole to bury her this moment. This was a bad time. She deeply appreciated Weixi's call, but not when she was in plain sight and within hearing distance. Fortunately, Li Na didn't recognize Weixi's voice and only continued asking who it was.

"It's Xi Xing calling. We went out today, and she's checking on me. You don't need to worry. I need to talk to her, so I will be going to my room."

Li Na frowned. "Why would you need to go to the room? Who is Xi Xing again?" she asked.

Xiu Ying almost rolled her eyes. Li Na had met Xiu Ying before, although it had been a while. Still, it hadn't even been that long. "Xi Xing is a classmate and she is someone I met some time ago. We just reconnected. Now, excuse me while I go back to my room."

Xiu Ying bolted out of there. Weixi was still on the other side of the line asking if Xiu Yig could hear her. When Xiu Ying entered her room, she made sure the door was locked, before talking to Weixi.
