Bad Choices

Rachel thought of what Johanna told her the other day she visited her. She stood up and walked towards the window. With her hand placed on the window, she looked down to see the bodyguards and maids walking around.

She could remember when she was always free and would go out with Johanna.

But now, it's different.

She hoped that Mason would change after hitting her and he would start noticing her efforts, but he didn't. She hoped that one day, she will wake up and he wiped be there next to her, holding a flower in his hand, waiting to put it in her hair.

But he never did that.

And now, isn't it time to let go of it, just like what Johanna said?

It's time to let go of the idea that he ever loved her or that he would ever be capable of it because he isn't and he will never be.

Her bad choices doesn't make who she is; they enrich her life and teach her valuable lessons, but they never make who she is.
