He tried to relax realizing, 'Jezell was right, the young lady makes me feel on edge, but why? Seeing her in the mall for the first time, when she collided into us, it was not planned it was an accident, she seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere, but why were she smiling even when Jezell was rude by showing her the third finger. No one has ever gotten under my skin like that before and it irritates the hell out of me, then her running in front the car, I know it was not on purpose. I could see she was in pain but why didn’t she say something, someone else might have shouted at me because I was wrong, and why was I so ignorant, I didn’t even know it was her.’

"Jezell, you are confused, why don't you go for a vacation or something, and stop pestering my life. I like being free now, and meeting other people. So do the same and leave me alone, I am tired from a hard day's work."

Caleb saw the way she clinged unto his hand, linking hers to his by the elbow, then she said, "No my friend, you are the one that's confuse."

'With Jezell here, I cannot allow her to see the new van,' he thought and then said, "How on earth could I be so forgetful, you know what? You are absolutely right, I am confused with everything happening, I completely forget I sold dad's van."

"Caleb why did you do that? Is the business so bad?"

"Yes to save the store I had no choice but to sell the van."

Caleb looked at the both vans like twins parked side by side, he watched her straight in her face and lied just as Sarahiah, 'Dear God, I am beginning to lie and scheme like her.'

He walked back to the main street with Jezell clinging on to his hand, 'I can't go to the burger cafe, but who can I get to pull me out of this plight.' He looked at his time, 'Her van is here, that means she is still with the boys, if she did not return to her store. I don't have her number, but I have Matt's.'

Caleb called Matt's phone, so Jezell asked, "Who are you calling?"

"A friend, will you just excuse me a minute," he said and stood about ten feet away from her, hearing Matt's voice he said, "Aye, your sister still there?...Okay, can I just speak with her for a minute?" when he heard her voice he said, "I need your help...My friend is with me and I need a ride home...I am opposite the car park, I will explain everything home."

He heard her say, "I will be there next five minutes."

"Thanks," he said then hang up, 'She sounds calm, but what will be her reaction when we reach home.'

Hugging Darius, Sarahiah said, "I need a favor."

"What are you up to now?" Darius asked and Sarahiah explained the predicament Caleb was in, "Honey, will you take Mariel with you, I need to do something for Sarah, and she will drop me home."

Both Darius and Sarahiah walked to the car park, Sarahiah gave Darius the extra bunch of keys for Caleb' van, then drove off. Caleb saw Darius driving out the car park calling out his name, "Aye buddy, you want a ride home, I am going your way."
