Ninety Nine

Sarahiah was unable to control the tears, being angry with herself for jumping to the wrong conclusion. Just then she heard footsteps approaching, she brushed the tears away and applied a slight makeup, as Petal asked, "Sarah is Caleb still vex from last night?"

'Knowing I was angry with him, but we have grown so much closer than when we was home. I know he was hurt by what I said to him, I wanted to say sorry, but he was in such a rush when I tried to stop him, he pushed away my hand and left,' Petal thought.

"I don't think so, I heard him saying he have a few things to do in town." 'Well I hope so anyways, the way he was angry, who knows what he might do.'

"Sarah, did the two of you quarrel?"

"Petal, why do you ask that? Did he say something?"

"Look I am sorry, I didn't mean to pry or intrude, but he might be a little uptight these days, maybe it's the store, the job, I don't really know, but in a few days I hope, it will blow over seeing he get another job."

"You are right, and you seems to be worrying unnecessary, but why is he worrying about the store?"

"This might sound foolish to you, but he sold his car, took all his savings and used it to save the stores, and now mom is fighting him down. He invested everything he had, when the other three almost destroy it. Mom and dad gave him the stores, but only verbally. I can't blame him for worrying after all the sacrifice he made, now he ended up the loser and on the street. I hate mom because of what she did to him, and she is the reason for dad's condition, now dad is lying in the hospital with a stroke."

Sarahiah hated herself by the minute for bringing more pain and hurt to him, when he was already hurting, and by her insinuating that he was going to meet that leech was making things even more worse.'
