A week had turned into a month, then another, Caleb had learned so much of her likes and dislikes by then. However, that didn't seem to help, even Caleb's comforting didn't heal or mend the distance between them. 'I love her, but nothing matters to her, even she and Matt seems to have drifted apart,' Caleb thought one evening.

...

The beginning of March came, Caleb had only just reached home from work and as he entered through the back door, he overheard is dad speaking with Nevil, 'They seem to have been communicating for some time. I only hope he haven't reveal where we are.'

Caleb was too tired to confront his dad, and was afraid that telling his dad that Sarahiah's life was in danger might make him worry, thinking, 'He is feeling much better, maybe when I am with a clearer head and more rested, I will query to know if he revealed where we are staying. The way I am feeling, I might just get angry and say something that I will regret.'
