One Hundred and Fourteen

"What note?" but then he said, "No, but we got to leave now."

"But why?" she asked and he saw her hesitation.

"Don't ask, now come on quick, dad I will return for you later."

"Aren't you going to say hello?"

Instead of saying anything, Caleb held Sarahiah's hand and quickly led her out the door, then took her keys and drove out the premises. "What is wrong with you?"

"Me? Hello, my mother ran me out the house, given me a restraining order from entering her premises, by you being here, we could get arrested."

Caleb saw the shock on her face as she said, "You are lying?" but it came out more like a question.

"Why the hell would I lie to you," he said, seeing the frown he then said, "Okay, if you don't believe me, when we return home I will show you if you feel I am lying, but let us get out of here please."
