He tried to relax realizing, 'Jezell was right, the young lady makes me feel on edge, but why? Seeing her in the mall for the first time, when she collided into us, it was not planned it was an accident, she seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere, but why were she smiling even when Jezell was rude by showing her the third finger. No one has ever gotten under my skin like that before and it irritates the hell out of me, then her running in front the car, I know it was not on purpose. I could see she was in pain but why didn’t she say something, someone else might have shouted at me because I was wrong, and why was I so ignorant, I didn’t even know it was her.’

Nathaniel felt a gentle touch on his hand waking him, he saw Matron Gibbs as she whispered softly, "See if she will stay on the bed."

Nathaniel slid her down n the bed and then pulled the covers as Matron Gibbs spread a blanket over her. He took his blanket that he had covered her with and then said, "Will you tell Matron Wilson when it's half seven to give me a buzz. I will be in my office, and also let her know that Lin have to get some test today and will be discharged on Saturday."

Nathaniel noticed Matron Gibbs' concern and said, "I know, but don't worry, something should turn up soon."

IN his office he lied down on the couch and recapped the morning's incident, 'It felt so good holding her in my arms once again, but this is so different.'

He closed his eyes and said, "Just an hour rest is like magic to the body, it will rejuvenate me with the extra energy to endure for the remaining part of my shift."
