Lies Have to Die

…As soon as his feet left the ground, he knew this wasn't like any other jump he made before. Though, he didn't reach the highest bricks, but he was close! He rose way higher than even the most athletic NBA Player could've done back in the day.

In the middle of the air, a lot was going on in his mind. '…It feels different than anything before, time is so slow and the air itself is different!

I feel so light, and so…' He didn't know the exact words to describe it, until gravity caught up and brought him back to ground.

Levon stayed silent for a moment, looking at his body, then towards the wall. He raised his gaze towards the level he just reached with his jump.

'…Minus my height, that's about 4meters and 73cm! no wonder it felt like time has slowed down… This proves two things simultaneously, the physical laws of the real world do not apply here, but there are still limitations within this realm!

Or rather I should say, the physical laws of this realm are different. Cause that was gravity that pulled me down… Anyways, I'll have opportunities to test the rest of my abilities as I progress.

Now back to the mission. While I was on the air, I didn't forget to notice if any bricks looked brighter than others. But they are all the same!'

In an instinctive action, Levon puts his hand on one of the bricks randomly to sense it. Touch has always been an essential learning tool for him even though he himself isn't aware of it in the literal sense.

'…For some reason, I'm recalling the day I visited the King in his twin tower.

What if some of these limestones can be pushed the same way?'

Levon applies this idea without second thought. And surprisingly, it was the case!

The brick was slightly pushed inwards! Surprised but determined, he quickly applies more strength. Until something started emitting from there…It was Light!

"So…this was what it meant all along!!" Levon says outloud.

The light got brighter and brighter he no longer could see into it. Suddenly!! He felt like he was sucked in towards another dimension!! It was for a too brief of a moment for him to even react or fully realize it.

When he opened his eyes again, he was already indeed somewhere else…

"…Where..am I?" He asks with quite a surprised look on his face.

The watch immediately gives him the answer:

* Location: Kardia

* Objective: kill 1 Psema

* Obtain: The Bronze Shield

* Instructions: Dodge all attacks and land 3 straight hits with your weapon

* Information: Being hit with 3 Psema attacks = Death

That was all the information given, Levon made sure to quickly read it all for the simple reason that he was curious and concerned about this place he has being transported to!

'… Kill 1 Psema! I sense no presence in here whatsoever. This place is on total opposite of where I was moments ago, it's like an infinite room with nothing but whiteness!

But I should be ready at any given moment, it's going to appear and sneak attack me…'

Levon grabs on his thick gun and gets it out of his hip, while his eyes were scanning the whole area.

"…What's this!!??" Levon suddenly hears a voice approaching him quickly.

The voice was ugly and low pitched. But as it got closer it was heard even louder, It was screeching!!

'Shit! Where is it coming from?

This place does not reflect sound so I can't detect the source with my ears!!' Levon started looking and turning in all directions, with his gun pointed in front.

His heart was certainly beating a bit faster than usual, was it fear? Excitement? Or simply his supernatural body pumping more blood to give maximum performance? Who knows…? He didn't think of this at all, only the objective was in his mind.

And finally, it showed itself!!

It took Levon by a shock that paralyzed his focused thought for a slight second.

'…What in the dark world is this thing? This is…Scary, even scarier than the animals who contacted the hybrid gene!!'

That was all he could describe this time around, not even the usual appearance scanning worked. He knew he's scared for sure! And that made him shoot even quicker though.

This Psema creature appeared in front of Levon about 5meters of distance. His gun shot was not a bullet though, the gun fired a lightning fast purple ball of energy that left no time for this cursed thing to dodge!

And even though Levon was momentarily shook off by its appearance and screetching, he still thought executed a plan he made the moment he read the instructions! He fired twice right after! That's 3 straight hits.

'…If the first one gets him he can't possibly move faster than the two more coming his way, it should do him some damage. It's already over you ugly thing!' Says Levon, as he felt more secure and less annoyed by the Psema's presence.

However, it is definitely not as easy as he thinks!

All 3 gunshots hit the creature directly, according to the given data that is enough to kill it and to assume a badass victory like the one Levon just thought he had.

That is only assuming that the data had all the information!

The Psema did not vanish, nor show any signs that convey death, it kept advancing towards Levon with even more screeching.

'What's the meaning of this?!! It hit him 3 times straight…' He quickly jumps back with all his power, a super jump again! Distancing himself quite enough.

As soon as he landed, he fired 3 straight other shots. Which again hit the Psema directly! Still, same result.

'…Is this a trap or what? Why would the watch give me false instructions!' Levon gets a bit frustrated and shouts while looking at his wrist.

"What is going on? This ugly winged creature does not die with 3 straight hits!!"

This time, the watch does not oblige his call!

"SHIT!! So I have to figure this thing out myself… The only good news here is that this creature seems to be slow. But he hasn't attacked me yet…

Should I wait for him to do so? That will give an idea on how to counterattack.

But if my hits do not do any damage, what's even the point…" Levon was excessively analyzing his situation. As the Psema creepily floated towards him!!
