"Your dad is dead there is nothing that can be done, we are really sorry for your lost."
Yin Dong hospital wall was so familiar to Jin ChuJiao because of how frequent her visit was. Her dad had lost half his life saving some old man from a fatal truck accident and was then thrown off a bridge and nearly drowned.
The old man came out of the incident with scratches while her dad was half paralyzed and his old injuries from his time in the military were all affected. He could only live with the use of a wheel chair and an all round the clock care.
Now after five years of hope just when things were getting good he just passed away, the suddenness hurt the most.
Lu Chen her fathers lawyer settled the funeral, hospital bills and all the other bills leaving behind nothing not even their house which would be mortgaged to foot the rest of the bills.
.....
Jin Heng was a soldier both in and out of the battle field, he had won the hearts of many. So at his funeral many came to pay their respect and offer their condolence.
Jin ChuJiao knelt at her father grave for five days. She heard sounds of foot steps, looked up but her eyes could only see the blurry figure of a man walking towards her before she fainted.
.....
"Am...am what? What did you just say???"
Jin ChuJiao woke up in a magnificent mansion on a California king size bed emitting the masculine scent of the owner of the dark room. Just as she was wondering what she was doing in this strange place and how she got there, the door opened.
An old man whose face she would never forget walked in followed by another face she wanted to forget. That wasn't the frighten part of it. What was worse was that her dad had given her off to a certain bastard who was also the crazy old man grand son. To prove it the old man presented a marriage certificate while his grandson produced the other. Both indicated the validity of their statement and for the life of her she could not tell how her signature got there. Then she remembered a time her dad had made her "practice" her signature with his lawyer as her mentor, so it was for all this. Anger swelled in her chest making her choke on air her fragile lungs could not take the pressure so she fainted again.
....
Mu QianChe gazed at the small fragile figure on his bed with his frozen cold eyes. This woman was now his wife, he was now all she had left in this world. He wasn't sure how that made him feel.
"anChe....wuuuuuuu liar...you promised I was your Dragon righ.....come quick your phoenix position would be taken....you liar.....you left me....wuuuuuuu... don't leave me wuuuuuuuuuu....."
Mu QianChe paused, left the sofa and walked to the bed. He saw her cry as she mumbled in her sleep. She said something that grabbed his attention. How did she know these things about the Dragon and phoenix, that name how did she know of it only one person ever called him that 'anChe' . Could it be her but this doesn't make sense. He must investigate first before drawing conclusions.
"Hong"
"Master"
Hong bowed to his master making sure his eyes where on the floor lest he sees what may cost him his life.
"Kidnap incident secretly investigate"
Mu QianChe ordered emphasizing on the 'secretly' .
Hong received the order and left not daring to question his master.
Mu QianChe stroked the little tigress face, her temperature was high she had come down with a fever. Mu QianChe wiped her down to lower her fever and fed her some meds.
He took care of her the whole night and it wasn't boring at all with her mumbling what he thought were nonsense until he realized she was talking to her 'phoenix bastard' as she had called him her words not his.
It was near dawn when he felt her clutch his hands and buried it in her chest, this put Mu QianChe in a very awkward position but when he tried to withdraw his hands she cried holding on tighter sighing he gave up.
...
Jin ChuJiao woke still in the same place she was the day before which meant all her nightmare were true. Getting off the bed she noticed that guy who was now her husband was sleeping on a chair next to him where a bowl of water, a towel and fever meds. It seemed like she had a fever last night. Di...did he take care of her all night? Aww that was sweet of him. Thinking along this line she pecked his forehead rousing him from his sleep their eyes met and she realized what she just did and who she did it to. Awkwardness permitted the air as the two stared blankly at one another.
"Second Uncle where is the pretty sister ?"
A little cute figure about five years of age came bursting into the room, sounds of footsteps trailed after him.
The sudden crowd in the room broke the awkward air between the two. Jin ChuJiao glanced at the boy clinging to her arm while creped out by the worshiping look in the eyes of the people that came in with him. From the look of their uniform they seemed to be servants.
"Little master talked... he talked"
The servants kept muttering eyes stuck to Jin ChuJiao and the little Master.
"Big sister my name is YeHan, big sis name is Jin ChuJiao right"
The little one said looking up at her expectantly waiting for her praise.
"Ah yes YeHan is smart"
She complied gave the boy the praise he wanted and he gave her a cute smile.
"Ah who is this Buddha, how can she make little master willingly talk and act cute to her???"
Butler Wang thought wiping away his sweat, he quickly ordered the maids to their job after they had giving a proper greeting they left.
