In most cases, if a person was to attack, he would not lose a single chance. But seeing that the attacker had missed out such a chance, meant either of the two things. First, he is lousy and an idiot. Second, the plan is bigger beyond reach. And Zsadin concluded that it was the second.
"Most probably, he will attack them either in Hampton or here. Ryan, keep the gas masks ready. Brandon is a very savage person. Everyone, be on alert tomorrow. One slight slacking can lead to the termination of the pack. Remember this. Now, head back and rest well. Of we can pull through this, it would be a treat from my side on Thursday. Batch dismissed", she picked her guns and turned when D stopped her.
"Yes, Mr. D. How may I help you?", she was sarcastic!
"Officer, can I carry my gun tomorrow on me. I promise-",
"I am sorry, Mr. D. Please speak to Chief Lee in that matter!", she beat him to it, allowing no further negotiations. D sighed but his eyes speaking otherwise.
The next morning, not only the boys even the batch had a sling bag with them. D looked at them confused.
What are they carrying sling bags for?
Little did he knew all had gas masks and spare clothes in their bags. They drove towards the HQ where they had their own private plane and a runway as well.
The boys gaped at each other while only Ron seemed unaffected. Ofcourse, he already knew about this from the cold commander.
Damn, they are filthy rich!
But again, Raanz scooted closer to Nancy and whispered in a low hush, "This plane belongs to your chief, right?", however the sound came out loud, nudging everyone in his direction.
Seeing his excited self, Nancy nodded and smiled at him.
How secretive and mysterious is she?
Zsadin ignored the curious and awed glances of the boys and boarded the plane first to take the most quiet corner.
She had already made all the necessary arrangements and quietly seated. She plucked in her earphones and closed her eyes. Soft music filling her ears and she drifted to wonderland. When others boarded the plane, the batch made sure to not make a single noise so that their chief can sleep a little.
Her fatigue was taking a troll on her and she had stopped eating since last night. She looked calm outside but only the batch knew how nervous and excited she was.
She was so focused on each thing she did that they admired her. Still as alert as she was, she was never able to be sound asleep.
Soon they reached their destination and before the plane landed, Zsadin was wide awake.
"Batch, get ready. Make me proud today", her voice startling the boys.
'Wasn't she asleep just a few seconds ago?'
